I don;t think this is only a mexican problem but and international one because most of the drugs aren't even made in mexico for example cocaine whichis transported from south america mainly form colombia. may be if americans stop being such crack heads we would be having these problems today.

Then he downplays the effectiveness of our National Guard by the border. If a gun ban is in force, the Guard won't be needed. I'm not worried about someone else taking those jobs. However, I am worried about companies exploiting illegal immigrants by paying them low (even lower than "low") wages knowing the employees can't do much about it.

The right decision is not to make guns illegal. Guns are already illegal in Mexico. Illegal immigration is already illegal in the US.

BUT......in those same two years, according to the Mexican government, 29,000 guns were recovered at crime scenes.
In other words, 68 percent of the guns that were recovered were never submitted for tracing. And when you weed out the roughly 6,000 guns that could not be traced from the remaining 32 percent, it means 83 percent of the guns found at crime scenes in Mexico could not be traced to the U.S.
