Samsung is just the same as Sony, I bought 2 Samsung printers in the past, both of them didn't even last for 1-2years, and I dont want to go into details with their phones, tv's, and etc... If anything LG and/or Toshiba are more reliable brands, but that's my opinion.
Thanks for the resolving problem. I've check the changing fan cost from the local dealer then I desire better to buy a new one. My battery also gone after one year warranty have just expired and the DVD Rom cannot read almost DVD even the piece that it has written. I may got the bad model with the price of 2200 dollars. I have the VPCF133FX and the fan is always going....but I realize that it has an i7 processor and with four cores and two virtual cores, I would imagine it kicks out some heat. I like my Sony Vaio and the light-up keyboard is so nice to have. Anyways, I disliked your video. I think you are whining over nothing. You probably just have a defective model or something. :)
All the fan needs is a few drops of good lubrication oil. 3-IN-ONE or sewing machine oil is perfect. Honestly, I have fixed so many noisy Vaio's (all different models) using this method and it works perfectly. The only other thing to say is to avoid degreasers such as WD40 which are not viscous enough for the job. Honestly, a few drops of oil on the spindle is all that is required.
Unfortunately the same has happened to mine, barely 3 months after the local technician re-lubricated the fan, it's started again, and unfortunately he's not going to be available for a while, and I've attempted to open laptops in the past.... and I know it never goes well for me. I have one of the business models, VGN-BZ11EN, unfortunately the fan started to die straight after the warranty expired :(
Was anyone else thinking "Wow, that laptop has a crap load of screws..." ? Although I can't talk much my Vaio has about the same amount... Does Sony do this on purpose? Or is there like a safety reason behind it all?

mine too has the same problem, i started to use vacuum cleaner on the vaio fan exhaust but its getting worse, i brought it their service center and they replace the fan free of charge, still under warranty... but thanks bro to your video, next time, i'll do it on my own...
Very annoying buddy, mine is acer I got a noise fan also, but not as loud as yours, and what I did, I clean the fan, by putting oil on its wheel, and now even how many applications I run, still very silent. Morethan that, I'm not using cooler anymore,,, Nice tip also on what you did with your vaio fan...

This laptop model has the most issues of fan breaking down. If you are going to go into the subject of misuse then everyone who happens to buy this laptop are misusing it??? I bought one of the sz models about 4 years ago about £1500, and after about 6 months my fan got noisy and I changed it under guarantee, from the first day of purchase there was so many software problems with its horrible windows vista that could hardly tolerate drivers... It was always got very hot so fan was always worked in high speed so I couldn't even sleep if I kept it on. I had it about less than 2 years,but it made me mad all the times, It wasn't even worth a penny,shame on vaio

Sony did offer a free repair for the CS Vaio laptop,for a free fan replacement. Sony don't suck, it sometimes goes down to misuse.
