what music is meant to do move, touch deep in the soul, and linger. this has stayed with me ever since the first time my ears were granted the privilege to hear such profound depth of expression, and my soul, nay my being as a whole having the ability to be graced with the greatness of adagio has forever remained changed.
É a mais bela melodia clássica que eu já ouvi ,de Giovanni Albioni(1671-1751)ela consegue transportar-me ao paraíso!Espero que as pessoas do planeta aprendam a ouvir e amar a boa música, a verdadeira música!
London Festival Orchestra? Is this same as the London Chamber Orchestra? I ask because the way it was played is closely similar to the latter's recording. (Except that there was no clapping in the end.)
THATS RIGHT, ALBINONI WROTE THIS ADAGIO IN DIFERENT TIMES THATS THE RISENT IT WAS ICH PISE IN TIFERENT TIMES AND GIAZZOTTO MAKE THEME TOGTHERE AND FIX THEME TO A COMPLITE AND PERFECT PISE OF MUSIC ON THIS PLANET EVER
The Adagio in G minor for violin, strings and organ continuo, T. Mi 26, is a neo-Baroque composition popularly attributed to the 18th century Venetian master Tomaso Albinoni, but in fact composed almost entirely by the 20th century musicologist and Albinoni biographer Remo Giazotto.
Bellissima esecuzione. Una musica celestiale, sembra scritta da una mano divina. Grazie Tomaso Albinoni! E grazie a Giazotto che ne ha trovato i brandelli, ricostruendola e, probabilmente, completandola.
From what i've heard, there is (in a manner of speaking) no such thing. Albinoni wrote all the music in this, but the collaboration of all these pieces was the brainchild of Remo Giazotto, maybe even some of the pieces are Giazotto's own, its hard to tell.
Cosa c'è al di qua e al di là della tessitura fra vita e morte se non il sottile strato della malinconia. Sento quanto manchi poco ad essere felici, ma altrettanto manca ad essere tristi:
questa è l'eternità che sussulta. E' inesorabile. Questo adagio
This piece has the strange distinction of being both sad and even suitable for a funeral, and also brimming with enthusiasm or expectation of something immesurably beautiful. I would like to be memorialized with it

It's not from Albinoni. It's from Remo Giazotto. He fraudulously attributed this to Albinoni.

Alas, Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni never wrote this wonderful piece.
It's a false, a beautiful false, written by a smart musicologist just after WWII

Correction:
This Adagio was long alleged to be an arrangement by Remo Giazotto, based on a continuo part by Albinoni.
But no baroque composer ever used such ugly harnonies.
Obviously this is not a baroque piece, or even an orchestration of a baroque piece.
It's a NEO-baroque piece by Remo Giazotto, first published in 1958, and established, since his death in 1998, to be entirely by him.
Albinoni had nothing to do with this monstrosity.

These ugly, 19th c. Sicilian folk harmonies, like those from "The Godfather", are NOT baroque.
Albinoni had nothing to do with this.
He's been spinning in his grave ever since 1958, when this monstrosity was 1st published and attributed to him.
This is a neo-baroque piece by Remo Giazotto, established as entirely by him since his death in 1998.
The original Albinoni piece on which this piece was supposedly based never existed.
