I was so mad with this race. The Gibbs engines were producing too much horsepower and were getting unusually big leads in the plate races. NASCAR looked into it too late. Poor Jr. had no chance.
@SuperCamaro5 Yeah, so then why were the Dodge's not dominating when their engines actually had the most power that year as shown by the dino test was done with all the engines? It was an engine from Ganassi's #40 and 2nd was from Roush's 60 car. I don't remember 3rd on down but all the Roush cars run the same engines as do the Ganassi cars, and since the Gibbs cars weren't even in the top 2 the engines can't be the excuse as to why they kick butt.
@111cados111 Yeah but the Gibbs Toyotas were required to run a tapered spacer in the engines after dyno testing that year I recall, and they won like no plate Nationwide races after that. And Kyle Busch is apparently the reason why they kick butt. He does whatever Jimmie Johnson has done the past 4 years, whatever it is. This is one of the few excptions where Busch actually finishes lower than 1st.
@SuperCamaro5 It's not just Kyle, he just runs most of the races. Hamlin has a win, a 2nd, 6th, and 12th that would have been a top 2 at worst were it not for a late race dust up in the 4 starts he has this year and Joey has a win and tons of top 10's in all of his starts. And Tony won like every time he raced the 20 car in 2008. The problem with the 20 now is that it's Kevin Kidd's first year as a crew chief, so that's why Joey hasn't been as dominate in that car this year.
Agreed, this race started well, then it was just boring, even when that late caution came. Jr should've shoved the 18 out of the way then the 20, and that would be a thrilling finish.
I don't think anyone could of gotten a run even if edwards didnt get out of shape. the gibbs cars were top of the class. and especially since they were running 1,2. no way.
its denny time

I am happy for the 20 team, but If someone didn't get into the back of carl edwards on the restart, someone else probably could have won.
