  • The last two shots were very awkward.

  • @Unintelligenda I guess you didn't like the way the food looked. Sorry about that...

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen No I mean the food looked fine I was referring to the camera work. The last two shots of the food seemed to drag out a bit to long and it makes it strange to hear the background camera noise. I would recommend using still images and possibly some kind of music to end it on. Just some constructive criticism.

  • @Unintelligenda Thanks for your comment. I will tell Rick and see if he can do something to improve the camera work.

    --Betty :)

  • 0:00-0:50 cool story bro.

  • @StayBrutalBro Thanks!

    --Betty :)

  • hey Betty is it possible to this recipe in the oven???

  • @1983hotmomma Yes it will be great in the oven. If you have a broiler pan, use that. If not just use a sprayed baking pan. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, turning once--half-way through.

    --Betty :)

  • Looks delicious, but what is in the side dish?? is it a creamy potatoe kinda dish???

  • @ToyaRoa It is a Cheesy Corn Casserole. It is in bettyskitchen, if you are interested.

    --Betty :)

  • Wow Betty, you and your family must eat well and meal time must be such a delightful surprise every time. Tell me, have you ever had a recipe that didn't turn out well in practice as well as it did in theory? I've many a times tried to experiment only to have a barely edible dish.

  • @supercooled Yes, I have had a few ideas that did not work as expected. I think that happens to everyone occasionally!

    --Betty :)

  • Tasty looking chicken!! BTW I love your kitchen!! :)

  • Tasty looking chicken breasts ;P

  • Hi Betty! I don't have a grill, is there anyway that I can grill them on the stove in a pan, or in the oven?

  • @MissWynne100 Yes, you can prepare them as directed, and then put them in a skillet that has some heated olive oil. Just watch them carefully and turn them when they need it.

    --Betty :)

  • Hi Betty! I don't have a grill, is there anyway that I can grill them on the stove in a pan?

  • Betty, your recipes are amazing! loved every one of em'!Keep up the good work!

  • heyyyy betty

  • Hi ya Betty,

I noticed you said you get more tomatoes from one plant than you can use. Don't know if you have more than one plant, but here's an idea so you don't lose many or any (Esp if they start to shrivel a little). I take mine and cut them in half, drizzle with with some olive oil, garlic salt and basil {or chervil} then I slow rast them in the oven at a low temp so they are somewhat like a sundried (or you could ust do that...LOL) I like mine still just a tiny bit of plumpness though.

  • @Skoben2000 That sounds great! Thanks!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Wow nice job Betty! :D I'm definitly doing this one!!

  • @MrCurry101 I hope you enjoy the recipe!

    --Betty :)

  • That's a good looking dinner.

  • That looks like a very tasty dinner.

  • The chicken looked perfectly cooked and the plating looked wonderful.

  • um so happy to see rick .. because he is my personal hero in how to treat ur lady and making her happy means ur happy .. very good dish betty

  • mmm French Dressing. One of the key ingrediants to Big Mac Sauce.

  • wow - iv gotta try that out :) - i doubt ill get it too look that good but as long as the taste is right :D

  • Hi Betty! Would it be just as good if baked in the oven? Thanks for making videos!

  • @TecViews Yes, but I would probably get it most of the way done before adding the French dressing. The French dressing might have a tendency to burn. Otherwise, baking this in a casserole dish or on a broiler pan will be fine. (Set your oven at 350 for about 25 to 30 minutes for average-sized chicken breasts.)

    --Betty :)

  • Would love to see you recreat teh drink you had it looks refreshing!

  • lol it makes me so hungry

  • French dressing also goes well as a dip with pork chops. I found this out by accident years ago and have been doing it ever since. I'm not crazy about french dressing on salad, but it really does compliment pork chops.

Thanks for this recipe Betty, I'm going to give it a try.

  • @tarm6 The French salad dressing dip for pork chops sounds good!

    --Betty :)

  • you betty, are one hot momma, and that body of yours damnnn. i bet when you were my age you were the hottest lil thing to walk this earth

  • Betty, This chicken looks amazing. I usually use a honey catalina dressing that I'm sure is pretty similar. Maybe I'll switch things up a bit and try this one out. Also, I was wondering if you had a recipe for a Chocolate Cream Pie???? Thank you for all of your wonderful videos...I look forward to watching you daily!

  • @yellowdaisies88 Thanks for your lovely comment! I have plans to do a chocolate cream pie at some point. I have several recipes involving seasonal foods that I need to do first. Thanks for the suggestion!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will look forward to many more of your videos!!! Take Care!!!

  • Nice and simple -- love it.

  • I see that your French dressing is red, in my country our French dressing is orange. What are the ingredients in your dressing that makes it red?

  • @McFerno1 My French dressing is orange. It might be my camera or your computer monitor that is making it look red.

    --Betty :)

  • I really like your recipes. They're so simple and tasty looking! I'll have to actually try them out sometime and let you know how it goes. :)

  • I've tried this is Itailian Dressing, marinate it for a few hours then grill it, its amazing.

  • Years ago, back in the 80's, there was a recipe where you dipped chicken in French or Thousand Island dressing, then rolled it in crushed potato chips, and baked on a thin baking sheet. It was delicious, and I tried several flavor combos. However, I have NO idea how much damage (fat, cholesterol, sodium, etc.) was involved with that old recipe. Yours is pretty and looks so luscious!

  • mmmmmmmm your dinner looks so delicious!

  • your video wont play all the way through =(....

  • What a lovely dinner. I bet Children would love this chicken because of the sweetness of the french dressing.

  • Thank you dear Betty :) I've found it extremely helpful to wear disposable gloves when touching chicken/meat - doesn't get all under my nails and icky raw stuff on my hands; plus I can really rub marinades in :)

  • @Shveti Great idea! Thanks!

    --Betty :)

  • that looks so good, yummmy

  • WOW 5 star meal Betty!! I'm certainly going make this for special occasions!!! Wonderful presentation. Have a happy and safe Labor Day, to yourself and Rick!! Best regards, Tony

  • I love chicken. Do u know pasta with chicken parsley sauce?

  • @oKeegan I haven't specifically seen that, but it would be easy to put together. I will give it some thought.

    --Betty :)

  • I just wanna start off by saying I love your videos Betty! I've been watching for quiet sometime now... I love that you show that us Kentucky girls can really cook! :)

Have you tried this recipe on an electric grill? I live in an apartment complex and unfortunately dont have an outdoor grill, and I'm also trying to diet and lose a bit of weight. If you've tried it or consider trying it please let em know?

  • @BudgetMakeupBeauti I haven't tried this with an electric grill, but it should work well. To insure that it does, you might grill the chicken breasts until they are almost done, and then add the French dressing. Then just finish up the grilling. This will keep the French dressing from burning onto the chicken.

    --Betty :

  • What a great dinner again!! I wish we have oven in my place here in Japan..

  • Looks like a dish from a 5 star restaurant. Thumbs up for the chicken

  • i make this only with itilian dressing

  • Looks great Betty ! How did the chicken taste? Was it moist and sweet?

  • @mukwah1111 yes, it was moist and sweet--tangy and very tender.

    --Betty :)

  • Thats interesting... I have tried it with Italian dressing and I liked it, I think I will try this one some time next week to see how it taste. Thanks for posting! :)

  • That looks great, I've used Italian Dressing, but never thought about French, I will definitely be trying that. Thanks Betty!

  • That really sounds good!!

  • Sounds like he is pretty spoiled. haha.

  • plate looks good

  • Where is the dog while your doing your show?

  • @lidsman2221 The dog is on his own (in the house). That's why he occasionally ends up in videos when he smells food being prepared in the kitchen. If we put him outside, he scratches the door, until we let him in!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen My dog does the same thing! I have to keep re-recording cause of him! 0_o LOL

  • Hey Betty, I'll definitely be trying this recipe out today :) I was just wondering, how do you defrost a chicken breast? Do you just leave it over night in the fridge?

  • @joiidee Hi! I hope you enjoy the recipe. Yes, I do thaw frozen chicken in the refrigerator overnight. You can speed the process up by placing frozen chicken in cool water, and changing the water for fresh, cool water for a few hours.

    --Betty :)

  • looks so good!I'll try it soon :)
