The Magicians companion is a great book! I think along side it Stephen skinners Complete Magician tables would serve any aspiring occultist. Most important tho, is the work. Having an array of symbols is useful, but find a system that works for you, and work it =-) Loved the video,

This is a display of orthographic symbols. It is not a linguistic study by any means because that would imply that it is an investigation of the morphology and syntax of a language. Your work is English transcribed into codes in a way that is not true to their original usages...

I'm both a linguist and occultist, and I didn't see anything relevant to either fields much less anything revolutionary.

ha, you should by that Llewellyn set, The Key of All things, if you like magical and ancient scripts. its an amazing compendium of just such things. All occult work is mystical in nature and take a lot of work and practice to inch forward. Tradition becomes incidental at this point as all symbols are arbitrary
