  • WOW, NICE JOB DUDE, THIS IS A SEXY TELECASTER lol ,,, how much it cost? do you sale this guitar or another telecaster?

  • what a beautiful piece or art! I really want to build my first guitar, a telecaster, to be more precisely . Was it hard to build it? how much time did it take to you to finish the guitar? did you spend a lot of money on it? Thanks!.

  • hey, lewis, what a fine guitar is that! where did you learned to play like that? it is amazing! thanks in advance

  • what pickups do you use ?? i have a homemade telecaster too :D

  • @JoePickel14 The neck is a dimarzio twang king, the bridge is a seymour duncan 54. :)

  • HARRY POTTER GOT A GUITAR

  • What kind of pink-up do you use ?

  • Hey, I really like the tele. where can i find plans? i found a couple pieces of really old and dry pine slabs in my fathers garage that i want to turn into one. Thanks!

  • what kind of wood do you use ?

  • @Flixkat67 Swamp ash

  • Did you buy this as a kit and if you did what brand cause this is just awesome and im looking to build one

  • Nice sounding telecaster. Can't believe you built this yourself. Great job. Good job showing off it's versatility.

  • Hi Lewis, great vid, thanks for that. Love your guitar finish. I am working on a tele right now thinking about a danish oil finish too. What type of danish oil did you use (was it tinted)? How many coats did you apply? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

  • @MrGuitarnuts Hey, it was the most basic danish oil i could find, not sure of the brand though. The trick was to add a little wood dye (a mix of yellow and light beige) to the ash and then add a coat of oil, leave the oil to dry over night. The next day lightly rub it back with fine steel wool and add more oil. Repeat this about 3-4 times until your happy! It has a great smell btw

  • Oh yeah man! Go down on the camera man like a champ! Yeah!

  • GREAT tone!

  • That guitar is a beauty. Congrats! Great playing too, luv your tone!

  • That's a great sounding Tele.

  • By the way, very good job!!!! i liked :)

  • 1:37 Blow job xD

  • Your playin' is awesome and the guitar too, anyway I think it would sound even better with a marshall or a fender, wich sound more natural and would give the tele the possibility to get out its cutting particular tone on the distorted notes, but I could be wrong. Great job anyway!

  • i realy want to know how much tie it took ?

  • Hey msn, I love the guitar, how long did it take you to make your's? I have always been a fan of the tele and I want to make my own. Grats ona beautiful guitar.

  • what are the parts that you put the strings through on the back of the guitar called? Nice guitar btw.

  • is this pedal overdrive or amp overdrive?

  • @knikk77 The overdrive pedal is a home-modded Ibanez Tubscreamer TS-808.

  • @Fendermadlewis Being a formula one driver, I'd imagine you're quite good with pedals! I'm sure that joke hasn't been made before... Anyway, a very nice guitar! I'm going to build one myself once if I get some money for Xmas, which I hopefully will. Disclaimer: irony was used in the making of this comment.

  • sounds really good. nice and punchy plus twang, nice combination of pickups.

  • Sweet sounds - great playing

  • VERY nicely done and EXCELLENT playing. Keep it up !

  • Got the new pups installed./..love them both!

  • Great! Glad that they worked out for you!

  • My pups will be installed this week. Can't wait to try them out and give you some feedback. I am convinced these two pups are the right choice for me!

  • Thanks for the reply. You don't seem to get much "hum" or "noise" even with your nasty stuff. I love the 54's round-sounding twang on the clean side. The "Twang King" bridge is good but the 54 just says TELE! The TK neck is bright and crisp, no mud and honestly most of the time I play clean or with just a hint of "grit" I like the "Sparkle Voodoo" pedal for that stuff.

  • Great stuff

You're pups are exactly what I have been considering on my new MiM Tele.

I realize your wood selection and hardware are different than what I have, still I think this would be a great combo and after hearing them I am even more convinced. I am running thru a modded Blues Junior with a Celestion Greenback and some other mods. Any thoughts?

  • Yeah, jimmy you got the right idea! These pups get 'that tele sound' perfectly, i would just pull the trigger on them, because they are REALLY great. The twang king neck is my favorite, but i think the seymour duncan wins in the bridge position. Let me know how you get on, i'm a total gear head myself!
