  • Sean, I'm so immensely proud of what you are accomplishing both musically and professionally. I consider myself blessed to have shared the stage with you as well as the corridors of Bliss Hall at YSU!! Your CD's are incredibly inspiring and I wish you the utmost continued success!! Brian Hogans is a beast !!!

  • Great CD ! I recommend it !

  • tsk tsk tsk if your going to insult someone & call them ignorant please use proper grammar & dont mix your homophones kiddie...its KNOW nothing about music not NO nothing about music...but since asked I played at the Kennedy Center when I was 16, was a DJ in St. Maarten at 18 & I regularly play with a professor of jazz at Peabody. As Sean Jones once told me its not arrogance its confidence. I talk like that bcuz I can back it up...

  • Many a thirsty soul that journey towards eternity come 2 refresh their pallet by the pools of jazz greatness only 2 find their needs unquenched. Why ? Because so many musicians refuse 2 provide LIVING WATER.Their songs about love r hallow for they themselves aren't truly connected to the Divine. They breed hopelessness & despair bcuz their songs are like that of a siren beckoning hopefully travels only to find their visions of peace dashed upon the rocks of superficiality.

  • Uhhmm I have heard this CD. I did enjoy the trumpet technique, but as a baby mama on welfare going through a VERY messy divorce from an abusive husband who continues to use me as a whipping boy, I didn't get that hope and love vibe from the CD. But my analyst told me that I was out of my head. I guess also as a TRUE Christian I don't believe in just playing Gospel I am about living it. See my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. "Letter of Resignation" is hopeless.

  • This "review" (to give this way too much credit by calling it such) is completely useless. If you care to talk about music and leave the other stuff to you analyst you might have something more constructive to say.

  • Well in this video he wasn't just talking about music was he ? And that is the problem with ignorant fans today...they like to think music is created and should be listened in a box. Hence why most people think Mr. Jones sounds like a white boy and prefer kats like Christian Scott and Roy Hargrove. If you separate music from life you can't hear it.

  • Keep it coming taiyo06 we trumpet players love a challenge. And I promise you in a battle of wits you are sorely unprepared to take me on...ask Mr. Jones, lol.

  • If you know the God that I serve you would know I am one of the baddest black women that has ever walked the face of this earth. Don't test me on that...for real...

  • you sound like a true christian...

  • Are you being sardonic ? I don't serve a Christ who is lilly white and has Pantene Pro-V hair. The God I served has hair like lambs wool and skin like burnt brass and called the Pharisees snakes, swine and cleaned the temple with a whip. So yea I do sound like a TRUE follower of Yeshua :) perhaps Christafarian would be better.

  • No, Im being REAL. You on the other hand, you're just arrogant, ignorant, and no nothing about music, even though Im sure you listen to it. Get your head out of your ass. It's not about being black or white, its about MUSIC.

  • I saw Sean in concert last year. I didn't know a thing about him. The whole time I watched and listened all I could say and think was "wow he's amazing" if you want to hear fantasic music - he's it
