You can see that Tom is beginning to have an Adam's apple here and his voice is changing into a deeper, richer tone. If this is a sign of things to come, Tom should remain a wonderful singer........just not the treble notes anymore. @MyRobby2010 - I know you wrote this a year ago, but I'm just seeing your comment today (Aug 6, 2011). You probably already found out that "Ave Virgo" on their album "Peace" is Tom's last official Libera solo. There's a good audio version of it (there are no live vids of it) posted by TrebleChoir99 called, "Libera - Ave Virgo (Tom Cully)". It's a beautiful song, but is also a bit melancholy and haunting, especially for those who miss Tom.

The first solo is Tom,but the second solo (part of upsurge of song ) is Liam.

There is no Liam's solo scene in this video.

There's no use quarreling, really!

First - nobody's singing in this video, the sound is from the album, as it's just a music video.

Then - in the album Tom's singing the beginning of the song. Liam's solo starts with "Creator mysterum" and unfortunately this part's missing in this video.

At the latest concert Tom's introductory solo was replaced by the whole choir singing, because Tom's voice has finally changed.

This sounds identical to Liam Connery's recording on 'New Dawn.' I'm 98% sure its Liam, and not Tom who is singing in this.

I think on the album Tom sings the very beginning, the "Veni sancte....Pater pauperum" part and Liam does the "Creator mysterium..." part. I am not sure why only Liam is credited as the solo on the album though.

But the beginning does not sound at all like the other recordings Tom does on 'New Dawn.' 'May the Road Rise Up' and 'Rest in Peace,' (two songs that encompass the same range as the beginning of 'sancte' )have a completely different tone and timbre altogether. I am positive Liam sings all of it.

Let me make this clear before you start calling me stupid: I know that its Tom who appears to be singing in the video. However, i'm quite sure it is Liam's voice that we are hearing. I say 98% because, although I trust my ears pretty well, there is always margin for error.

I'm still not sure why this bothers you so much though... its just an opinion.

On the album, it is Liam singing so at first i thought that i was liam's voice, with tom miming it. But, this does sound like Tom, and it sounds different to the albums version. Perhaps this was a re-recording for SOP?

Well, i thought about it, and i think the most likely incident is that they re-recorded it with Tom, but may not have had enough time to finish editing the audio within the deadline, so they used the new dawn recording instead. My bet is that, if this does get released as a full music video, they will use audio from Tom.
