Black Lantern Rings makes everyone a douche and the villians thing is because Dick Grayson (when he was Nightwing) found out that Talia (i think) was harvesting superhuman body parts to make super human ninjas for the League. So the Government ordered them to take all the superbeings who's identities are not know to the public and put the under the Hall of Justice.

y'know if you don't like Blackest Night just unsubscribe to it simple as that. Other than good review. Anyways Blackest Night is more of a Green Lantern comic event when you think about it. Because they've been building up to that event since well Green Lantern Rebirth.

Well Black Lanterns are supposed be warped, twisted, and monstrous versions of the people they once were. Which is why Ronnie is such an asshole.

They keep the villains the basement of the JLA because as pointed out in Issue 1 metahuman corpses were sometimes used for legal experiments to try to repulicate their powers.
