Trevor Murrell (the drummer here) in my mind is one of the greatest drummers ever. He has played with people in many different genres and brought a better timing with him. He even played with Pink Floyd for a year or two.

Even though what he is doing in the song is not complicated really it's how he plays it. Every single stick swing is done with earnest. He is one of the rare few that can give any beat more life than it has ever had.

One of the greatest and least known ever.

Not sure about Wham. The groups I know for sure that he played with are: Sade, Shannia Twain, Daryl Hall and Pink Floyd. I know there are others but I can't think of them right now.

He's basically a studio musician that people sometime talk into touring with them because he is so amazingly good and adaptable to any music.
