Jo actually sang the song perfectly... Chris just didn''t know how to harmonize. He sang way too soft and low and was flat throughout the chorus. It seems like he was trying to sing background (like in the original) rather than a duet. Although maybe his voice just isn't strong enough, in which case Jo should have lowered the key to suit his voice better.

She was used to having six other talented -intune singers backing her on that song.

To then go and have a total none singer who was completely out of tune and flat sing with her...naturally singing you try and blend and harmonise with the people around you, she did that with him without knowing it.
