I work 25 hours during school time (I am currently taking 20 college units), though I do work 40 hours during breaks.
Coincidentally, I am also really sick. I was sick on Monday, but still went because I had two tests, a quiz and a speech due. Definitely regretted that on Tuesday, and consequently didn't go to work. This is because everyone I talk to says that they would rather sick people stay home, so they don't get everyone else sick.
It was back to school for me today, and work tomorrow.
I dont think you are really doing anything wrong. I think that you need to just network more. Perhaps either you, or possibly us humanoids, can try and get you featured on a more famous channel. I think maybe if you had a more consistant upload schedual people may subscribe more but i do not think it is nessesary.
I love superfast talking Wednesdays and you should keep making them.
One of the things that bothers me about the channel is that it's almost all Jim. You hardly ever make videos and the videos are all sporadic and none of the videos seem to link together and... yeah. I dunno if that makes sense. Scedules are love, guys. I agree with whoever below said that Tom should have a thing although I have no idea what that would be.

You want to hear fast talking? Listen to Acadians in their mother tongue. I'm used to fast talking and I talk really fast in English so this isn't hard to understand. But kudos for being a second under 4:00.

I've had one legit job. for two weeks. I don't even know why they hired me... it wasn't worth the paperwork to hire me for two weeks then let me go. and getting a job in this sucky economy is no good. BUT I do have a job-ish. I design kid's watch bands. I don't get a percentage like I'd like, I get payed per design (and kind of ripped off, too). I don't work that hard, obviously I love drawing, so I don't really consider it 'work'. I also sell commissions.

Only one thought about the subscriber stagnation: it's fall. School, work, ordinary routines. I imagine a lot of people are noticing a decline in subscribers right now.
Well, I'm currently a student though I do have a very-very part time job (i.e. like 8 hours a week) but considering that's on top of classes and working in a lab, it's reasonable I think. Oh no, not shingles! That can't be fun. For a second I thought you meant you had the generic tiny chicken disease, but egh. I usually go into class / work when I have the flu, which, like you, usually comes and kicks me in the butt afterwards...
I'm not working at the moment for medical reasons so I've just been drawing (comics and occasional commissions) this whole time (although lately I've slowed down).
I'm indifferent towards Fast Talking Wednesdays but I do wonder if it would get old after a while but what do I know.
Ugh, my hours always fluctuate. Really freaking annoying, because I have rent and bills and food to pay for. Lame. As. I'm looking for a new job for this christmas season though.

@Autobrots Jeez Tom, do we have to explain everything to you? First you build a time machine, then you back in time and kidnap the cast of the Mighty Ducks, then you take them out to the forest and build a campfire and reenact the final scene. Alternatively you could probably get away with just doing the 'quack, quack, quack' thing before the song... I like the first option more though...
Jim is right. It's basically just sung to acoustic guitar around the campfire. With the entire cast that made up the Mighty Ducks team. You may need to borrow the delorean for this one...
