HD Starcraft 2 Rush Defense challenge strategy

For the protoss: build 2 rax and a bunker (buildings placed like the challenge shows you when your start), fill bunker with 4 marines, get 4 reapers and you're done.

lol... well definately a good strategy, it works thats for sure, altyhough it is possible to get an easy perfect in waaayyy les time lol, just use scvs all with autoreqair to attack a zealot when he comes, then have a marine shooting him, and hell keep trying to go for marine and never hit scvs lol way too easy, i did it with a total 6 marines when it finished it, in way less time mind you lol

this was so easy lol thankyou but i did it another way i kept making bunkers and rines until i was able to hit the gateways after i destroyed everything i killed the cannons pylon then the cannon

Broken method, I tried copying your strategy the exact same way. My SCV's, Supply Depots and everything else just dies too fast. I'm not saying you cheated, or altered the video in any way, I just think it's blind luck.

@DoctorObviously Erm not really it worked for me on my 1st try, just be extremely quick in the beginning. For the second part, a little luck comes to play, but i got a perfect score =)

kill the probe with an scv and put some scv's in the little enclosure to repair your depots and bunkers from behind. 0 loss

during the zlot push you only need 3 full bunkers with 3 blocked in scvs then you can just get 3 sieges and keep pushing up

Good strat but you can do this challenge even easier.... as soon as you have enough minerals to build a Barracks lift off your Command Centre and park it above the warp gates but out of range of the cannon. The Zealots just stand underneath it like idiots.

When the barracks is built lift it off and replace the command center with the floating barracks. They'll all just stand underneath it till you can build some banshees and blow the crap out of em lol.

Zero losses guaranteed.

Lol I just tried your strategy, but with a twist. Where you had your SCV attack that little probe and stop his production, my SCV killed the probe, then attacked the 2nd one that comes up afterward and stopped his production too. I only had to fight against 1 Gateway producing 1 zealot, was the easiest thing I've ever done.

I did this challenge and only lost 1 unit, on the zergling rush. If I follow your strat for that part I can do a 0 loss finish. Nice.

I struggled with this challenge a lot. But after this video and doing it almost the same way I earned gold and my Marine Panda portrait!

The commentary is really good and fun to listen to and just like it you say the whole time, this challenge is a joke, it's so easy once you know how to make use of supply and barracks as walls until the 1st Marine arrives.

This strat was awesome, thanks a ton for helping me out on this. Great, great stuff, very clever. Not to try to one-up you or anything, but once you have like 10 marines / 3 marauders, it's totally safe to move out completely. I was worried about the defense tower in the very back, but you can stay out of range enough with M&M to kill its pylon, making it useless.

@rethguals The problem is that in the demonstration before the mission begins, that's what it shows you to do, which is silly. It's a dirty trick, imo. The lesson to be learned is: don't always follow the demonstration's recommendation and think outside the bunker ;)
