@Redwallforever Mice are the default Redwall creature. If you'll notice, most of the other goodbeasts are "like a mouse but _____". Squirrels/otters/hedgehogs/bad­gers/hares each have one defining special attribute. Shrews and voles are exceptions, but shrews live in separate societies while voles are generally helpless.

The protagonist is usually a mouse --> no special powers, whereas the support cast have creature-specific specialties. It's a pretty common style in fiction.

Wow, cool! Judging by your intro, I'm guessing you're a villain person. Don't worry, so am I! ^_^ Anyway, this was awesome! It showed the pain of the hero's and the misery of the villains (Not sure if you intended that to happen) 1:39 was my favorite bit, it really showed how innocent Slagar was before Asmodeus came and ruined his life.
