@PoiZn14 I started playing on a Squier Strat myself and I still think it's a very decent guitar, especially for it's price. If you want to play more rock orientated music though, you might want to check out some of the models Ibanez has to offer like the GRG series. Epiphone also has some nice affordable guitars like the G-310 or the Les Paul Special II for instance.

Dude I swear How do you do it when it comes to speed? Like I honestly have been a guitarist for at least 5 years but i'mnot much of a lead guitarist and soloing. I sing and pluck some tabs here and there but I guess I lagged it when it came to my "skills" like i'm more rhythm oriented. Like i can play tabs but certain fast ones i literally suck at>.<

@tboam123 Speed is something that you really have to build up slowly. What I'd like to advice is to practice with a metronome. Pick a certain part that you have trouble with and start practicing it at half the original speed. When you are able to play it smoothly and accurately, speed up the tempo by 5 - 10 BPM. Repeat and gradually speed up each time and you will find that your accuracy improves greatly. I still practice that way when I need to learn specific fast or difficult parts.
