The church today has issued a zero tolerance policy as have many other Protestant denominations. I think it is very biased to focus on the CC only when this problem is global in all religions and government agencies.

The Reason Cardinel Ratzinger wanted these cases to go to Rome ws thst local Clerics were not doing their Job in removing these, also in the case of Fr Murphy and others the Civi athorities did nothing. What the church did was put children in danger which does not meet the very specific definition of crimes against humanity; that is; carrying out, being complicit with, or tolerant of policies of 'action'; it doesn't cover 'negligence'.

All you have to do is look at cases like O'Grady and see that the church's policy is to cover up and protect themselves rather then the children that have been and are being abused and raped. Google, buddy. there is plenty of evidence that the pope knowingly covered up for his pedophile rapist buddies, even moving them to more remote churches where they could find fresh victims and be less likely to be caught.

the pope, in his own letter to every bishop in the world, told them explicitly that cases of child abuse were to be dealt with in "utmost secrecy". he threatened anyone who talked with excommunication and had the child rapists moved so they could continue to rape children in secret. this was all covered already, there is a paper trail in the pope's own handwriting, he doesn't even deny it. this had been in the news for a while now, you have no excuse to be this ignorant. dumbass.
