@spadzo Yes it will. You'll need to order a LOSB9380, that has everything you need.

hi there i have a question how is the quality of the esc does it do some weird stuff such as a red light while you should had blue light i notice that many people have some weird problems is this there fault or just the esc or should you better read the manual

Out of curiosity, despite the manual saying the esc is designed for brushless motors only, is it possible to use a standard brushed motor with it? My lipo packs were left lying around for about a year without use, one's an Orion 20c 3200 and the other is a trackpower 20c 3200 and they both seem to perform equally well, but could leaving them lying around for such a long time have had a negative effect on them?

Do you find your system lacks the grunt of the 27/19 turn systems? I'm running mine in a touring sedan but it's not able to keep up with the other setups either in acceleration or top speed.

Absolutely not. I ran one in my sedan with a 13.5 and it pulled hard out of the corners and all the way down the back stretch. Very stout. I would check to make sure you don't have something bound up somewhere. What chassis are you running?

I'm running an Xray T2 008 with a 3200 20C lipo. Don't get me wrong, it's quick, but the 19 and 27 systems are just quicker :/

I couldn't disagree with that more. You're not trying to run the same gearing with the brushless as with the brushed are you? I find with a 17.5 has more torque than a 27T and gets out of the corner harder and a 13.5 is definitely quicker than a 19T.

I'm running an overall gearing ratio of something like 6, not sure exactly, haven't calculated it. It's definitely not geared like the brushed motors though, those guys are running 20 tooth pinions in the same car as me whereas I'm running around the 30 mark. I just don't get it at all. Did you resolder any of the joints with better solder? Could that make a significant difference?

I didn't really read the manual in great detail, but I did set the motor up for the highest timing. I've also set up the transmitter using the button on the esc, but do I need to select a profile with the button on the esc? Or is it automatically selected when you connect it to the pc?

When you program it from the PC it stores if over the existing profile basically. Couple things to check:

Are you getting full throttle on the esc?

Is there a throttle limit in-place?

How is your initial acceleration set?

Have you updated the firmware recently?

And finally what motor are you using?

I would guess I'm getting full throttle on the esc, I've set it up according to the manual. I didn't set a throttle limit when it was connected to the computer, and the initial acceleration is set to high. The first thing I did was to update the firmware to the latest version - is there a problem with it? I'm using the stock 13.5 brushless that comes with the kit (esc/brushless motor combo).

No problem with it, just always best if you make sure to have the latest firmware.

This is a brushless-only ESC, you can't run brushed motors on it.

Hi, turned out to be my front diff slacking a bit, I replaced it with a front spool and the car now runs VERY well. I have to say, the motor does seem to have bedded in quite nicely now and it pulls much harder out of the corners than the 27 turn motors. Very happy with it now!

... i get new virus protecter and it won't still work. the led is still only red and that protecter don't remove eny progammes. this sucks!!!!

... when i try to "save" that progamme what comes in cd on my computer my virus protecter says that cd have 3 viruses ´VirusFoundWin32/Fujacks´?!?! i get new cd and usb adapter from rc sabe and this virus protecter says again that there is 3 viruses.(I got AVG Anti-Virus) And when i put usb cable to computer and that adapter to it, adapters red led should change red to green but it dont. so do my virus protecter remove some useful things when i save that losi thing in my computer.

I have heard that some virus scanners detect the Losi programming software as a virus for some reason. I would uninstall the current version of your software and download the latest version from the Losi site.

mah motor wont even turn on, the speed controller just gets a light, without the beep or anything. it wont turn on...

how i get that "motor brake" thing off. i mean that when i raise rear end and i add some throttle and i release throttle then motor stops immediately.

when you program through the computer then through the quick program card will it reset the settings you can only do on the computer

I am pretty sure that the programming card only changes the settings you can set via the card. I will test this later today and try to remember to post my findings.

i ve used both and the excelorion is faster and has better program features but the excelorions have one major problem in my experiencewith them and that is they keep catching on fire and melting my batteries when its not even being driven. trust me i know i am one excelorion #6 and it just melted earlier today. this could be a fluke that i just keep gettinr the bad ones. but overall i'd go with the excelorion esc. for the time they last anyway.

Correct, this software is only compatible with the 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale systems.

I'm running a computor with windows vista on it and i am having a few diffuculties working the usb adapter considering when i hook it up to my usb both "lights" still stay red. and the usb adapter glows red.

I use Vista on my laptop I have and it works ok. Try reinstalling the software, see if that helps. I would also try resetting to default settings to see if that helps too.

Try this:

1) Uninstall the software

2) disconnect the USB cable from your PC

3) Power-cycle your PC

4) Reinstall software but DO NOT connect the USB adaptor yet

5) once the installation completes power cycle the computer again

6) when your computer comes back up, connect the USB cable with the adaptor on it

7) It should prompt you to install the device driver at this point. Go ahead and let it do so

8) Start the software.

IF this doesn't work try the Restore to Factory Defaults option.
