absolutly awesome, great places that u have been mate, as i read, u set all in manual to appreciate the changes of the light right? since i've seen ur video i'd like to upgrade to 40D wich can do timelapses too right?
what camera he has has nothing to do with timelapses, that you usually control with a computer, or a plug in controller, and while i don't want to discourage you, this guy's work is really something amazing.
Hi, a quick question. Do you have a rough estimate of the shutter acutations for the entire clip? Did you do this with a Digital SLR? if so, which one? How bad is the shutter? Any wear and tear? Do you use different (multiple) cameras? Thanks! Since I've purchased the d200 and it has an invalometer built in, I figured i'd give time lapse photography a whirl....
i was wondering how do you set the exposure? especially in light changing conditions e.g. sunset? do you lock it or let the camera to set it? lock the aperture? btw can't get my eyes of your vid:)
Regardless of lighting conditions, if the exposure changes during the timelapse, there will always be a noticable change. Therefore I only ever set one exposure, on manual, manual white balance, manual focus, and camera on a tripod. Thanks for your comments! :)

Its timelapse of smoke on the plains, that has been time-remapped to accelerate. Done in post production using FinalCut.

Wow! That was really great, love those wide beach shots and the subtle zooms, and the variable rate is really cool! You live in a beautiful place.
