I hope Sega will add a hapkido fighter since I know that aikijujutsu has many reversals. Furthermore, the hapkido founder learned aikijujutsu when he was in Japan.

I don't know which fighting style is Kokoro using,but Aoi's Aikijutsu is deadly.

Kokoro uses the Martial Art "Ba Ji Quan". Both are incredibly effective & deadly Martial Arts. I agree with you, Aoi is one of my favorites in the Virtua Fighter series. It takes precise timing & strategy to properly use Aoi.

This is my favorite theme out of the entire game. I select this stage every chance I get when I'm playing. Gets your blood pumping!

I owned everyone with Aoi in VF4. Her vast knowledge of Reversals combined with throws can lead to strong damage!!

In Kumite mode! She got to Emperor rank and beat Dural, wearing a crimson Kabuki wig and a demon mask...

did u know that aoi umenokouji uses aiki-jutsu (a martial art from japan). aiki-jutsu used tossing abilities and disstabilised her opponents. however, in vfm her attacks are included with basic punches and slaps and kicks.

Aoi's theortically the "best" character in VF4, with the means to counter every move(to what I can remember). Too bad she's not easy to use at all, and successful counters yield so little rewards in VF. Anyone willing to update me her changes from VF4 to 5? Is she toned up or down?

Theoretically the best character?　Even if she can reverse most striking moves that statement seems off, as she isn't at all strong and while fast, there are characters that are both speed and muscle (Lau, Jacky.)

I've read that she's low tier in VF5 from the mid or so tier in the early versions of VF4. I don't know what theychanged.
