People may assume that Bedzed is eco friendly but, as a long time birdwatcher at Beddington, I can say that it was built on wildlife habitat where many birds nested and other animals lived. Cutting carbon emissions is a side issue to the real problem which is world overpopulation and unabating population growth. If carbon emissions were cut by 50% (don't hold your breath), what good is that when the world population doubles again ? Focus on the real threat to wildlife and environment.
