  • THIS IS AMAZING! Well done :D

  • Awesome Job! Fun Bright and Brilliant!

  • Nice! Quick question. I graduated in 08 I was in honors band. I want to go to music school at the University of Houston. Unfortunately my test scores werent high so im at junior college just doing core. Ok. I want to major in music Ed. and I picked up the sax. Fortunately I still have good tone according to a music professor. But my question is how can you develop fast toungeing again. I lost the speed. Hopefully I can get better by the time im done with core and transfer. thanks.

Start slow, keep increasing the tempo once you mastered each tempo.

  • i don't but his first note. did he slap tongue it? I was wondering why a lot of high school players slap tongue their low notes or tongue really rough.

  • impressive bravo! i look forward to see more vids from you! ^^

  • can anyone do etudes 46 or 48?

  • I'd like to thank you and everyone else who has posted Ferling etudes. It is a huge help to hear these pieces. I am going to practice now...

  • The only thing I could pick out was that the dotted 16th/staccato 32nd rythym blended into the 16ths at certain times, but the tone was wonderful, note accuracy perfect and I loved the spacing and phrasing. Nice work!

  • Great Job! And up to tempo to boot. Make sure you staccato isn't tooooo sharp. Its distracting and doesn't fit with the overall mood or feel of the piece. Great finger action and phrasing though.

  • The style is pretty absent from here. I would suggest slowing it down and getting the articulations down first, then add style, then slowly start to increase the tempo.

  • Also, you can't randomly take a huge breath wherever you wish; it has to fit into the piece.

  • so you made state? what class size 4a or 5a lol theres no way a 3a kid sounds this good haha

  • god... the best thing about your playing is the cleanliness. very, very impressive. did you make state???
