Eh, I agree but I wouldn't talk shit about pridgen. I think theodore is a much more mature drummer, playing what sounds good. Pridgen seems to focus on soloing the whole time which isn't my style, but I still can appreciate his drumming. I think he can mature into a good drummer if he gets his head out of his but. And I personally think Mars Volta suck ever since Pridgen came but I don't blame him, I think Omar makes much worse music since then.

F.Y.I. the guy in the video is named Jon Theodore, he is the current drummer with Mars Volta. He was formally the drummer of a band called 'Golden' which included Phil Manly of 'Trans Am' and 'The Fucking Champs'

Trans Am has been together 10 years now and they are one of the most amazing bands live. I'm not a big fan of Tool-- they bore me personally. Don't get me wrong-- Manard is talented-- afterall-- he obviously recognized how badass Trans Am is and asked them to tour-- but I think Tool is boring. Just not my cup of tea.

The drummer of Trans Am is one of the most amazing drummers out there. Really watch him play next time you see them live and you will notice.

I saw them last night also (New Orleans). The crowd booed them off the stage; I felt sorry for them. I didn't like the music- it appears to be for people who do lots of drugs- but it is interesting to me that they would do this so many years with no commercial or critical success. Good luck to them.
