@Vesivian Iceland is known for their amazing restaurant an culunary skills :) They do not go to a regular culunary art school, they go to Cezar Ritz wich is the best culunary art shcool in the world and their are only three in the world, 2 in Switzerland and 1 in Iceland :)
What's cute, cuddly, and seems like a good pet to one culture, is food to another. I wouldn't eat a puffin unless I had to, but I have no right to tell someone else they can't eat them. Made me think of the idiocy when it comes to what you can and cannot feed your snake (If you own a large one). A live rabbit is fine, but if you feed it a live puppy you've broken the law, at least in America. I love dogs, don't get me wrong, I just think it's ignorant to place those sorts of boundaries.
did you know during this film he had a near death experince i was reading about it on wikipedia he fell off the side of the cleath and was submerge for over 45 seconds and had hypothermia
Wow, what a load of ignorant hypocrit cunts these commenters are. Some people actually say "Why eat these BEAUTIFUL animals". What? WHAT? Just because they are beautiful to you it means they cannot be eaten? What kind of shit-logic argument is that? So if pigs were beautiful, they should not be eaten? Fuck off, seriously, bunch of ignorant hypocrits, if you dont want to hurt any living being on this planet, KILL YOURSELF. That way, you wont even hurt an ant when accidentally walking over it.
apparently during his time in iceland Ramsay slipped of a 280 ft cliff and he didn't surface for 42 seconds because his boots and waterproofs were dragging him down
On a different note, he was also bitten on the nose by a Puffin which he was embarressed to admit, it was sort of funny thinking about it
@slowmotionsystem its pointless arguing with someone who clearly has brain capacity deficientcy particularly in compassion and the capability to argue without resorting to idle insuts :)
@slowmotionsystem so the word natrual is pointless then? no natural would be hunting in the traditional way where we hunted fairley and did so because ther was nothing else to eat.
@slowmotionsystem but thats clearly not a natural presses so thers no point to that argument. and do you think its a calm expierience to be dregged down midflight and tangled in a net
@slowmotionsystem but thts not hunting is it? hes not using any skill. and also plants dont have feelings animals do so that was a pointless comparison. its been proven you dont have to eat meat to survive
i used to have respect for this man but hes just like all the rest. they think tha if you whant to be a chef you have to go kill something that will shock people no you ass hole thts not skill or creative its just twatish and unoriginal. also tht dosnt seem like a fair hunting thing anyway if your guna say your 'hunting something get down on your fuckin haands nd neese and hunt it like the caveman your pretending to be. this is pointless and unesasery.
Gordon Ramsay travels to Iceland to catch, cook and eat the beautiful Puffin bird. One of the best scenes from his Channel 4 F-Word series, part of season 4 episode 12.
Wow, I would love to get these on vidio! Why hasn't the american tv shown this instead of the "Hell's Kitchin" stuff? I like seeing the "other" side of Gorden.
Last time we were in cold Iceland and have eatin puffin heart and now we go to warm Central African Empire to the luxury palast of Emperor Bocassa! We wil eat HUMAN heart LOL
Poor puffins! So innocent, so helpless! Icelander, northern Barbarian tribe led by fucking dyke Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir. They murder puffins and eating their warm hearts, full of love. It's own heart have they none.
@jkkljkkl9292 Yes, it is a pretty bird, but they're only taking what they're going to eat, and it's not as if puffins aren't predated in the wild. If it doesn't come from a plant, someone killed it somewhere...hunting just takes the middle man out and is usually the most humane way of getting meat. They die instantly instead of suffering a long drawn out death.
I'm a birdwatcher myself, I love birds, but I don't see anything wrong with (ethical) hunting
It's Iceland. Did you see the video? Small rocky islands in the arctic circle with a little bit of grass on them. What are they going to eat besides animals?
@hugeknot therer are restaurants in Westmanislands, Vestmannaeyjar is a small island but the population there is 5000.. maybe take them 20 minutes to drivie back not much :P
the first thing i thought when i heard that Gordon went to iceland was oh god he probably went to some icelandic restaurant and commented "YOU CALL THIS FOOD!" or something similar and ripped them apart, this i wasn't expecting though. and i now really want to go kill some puffins or go fishing after watching this(i'm from iceland)
I'd like to hunt Gordon Ramsay one day and see what he tastes. I suspect he tastes like an asshole - stringy, very fatty and definitely stinky. But nothing a little bit herbs and vinegar won't cover up. It's all worth it for the momentary enjoyment on my palate.
yes your right. i´m from iceland and we are not some are not some cheaters. only couple of stupid monkeys that are turning us down. but they will be caugtt and putted in jail.
