Ah I remember that age. I was so picky about my own food that I only liked things like pasta's, rice and most food tha didn't involve mushrooms. That lasted until I was six that if we were getting take-out I'd try a new food.

Even now I'm still doing it but I still have my favorites. I'll eat spiniach if it's in a salad but not cooked. Especially if that salad is a flat bread salad with red wine dressing.

Spinach really isn't that bad when it is served raw. It has a distinct crisp flavor but cooking it makes it slimey and gross. I've always heard cooking vegetables takes away their nutrients. I share D.W.'s feelings about spinach...when it's cooked.
