I admire the absolute beauty of the first generation's ending, not giving in to mainstream expectations but leaving it up to one's imagination. That and the immense beauty of the camera shots are the series strengths and make them art.

I miss the characters of season 1 and 2. I hope that they all have continuing careers with the BBC. I was sad to see Chris die, Sid continuing to search for Cassie and the loneliness of Cassie's heart. It would have been nice to see Tony go to the same college as Michelle. I would have liked to see Jal move on to fame. I will add that the BBC has a wonderful way of killing characters. It is refreshing in a way that is not seen in North American television culture.
