The floor is just a piece of cardboard (from the lid of the shoebox). I gave it a bit of extra support by adhering thin strips of cardboard along the walls near the ceiling of the living room (you can see them in the video.

A doll slide and swing set sounds fantastic!

i love dollhouses and i keep making 'em for my lps. i cut a hole on one side for a slide, then for the slide i use styrofoam. then i wrap it in colored paper. imake a swing too by poking holes into a large bottle cap. then line it with small. plastic flowers then wrap paper around wire and stick it into the holes.
