  • That amazing mechanical reverb creates a magic atmosphere in this song. It takes me far, very far away. Perfect song.

  • Who is playing piano in this song?

  • @GTVAlfaMan Bob Ezrin, the producer

  • I spent two summers loving a girl called Maryann. I'll never forget.

  • Great song, really like this album

  • Mary Ann was his cat.....

  • Mary Ann might still be his man

if he didn't put those panties in that earlier album!

  • The summer of 77 I was 17 and found my first love, Maryann" she used to blow me and hold my hand oh maryann what has become of you? my freind says to try facebook but i am afraid sh is now middle age divorced w a litter of kids maybe some gran kids. That is a little too much for my head to handel. i wrather rmber Marry Ann on that beach years ago when we were both 17 and siping on my dads ice cold millers!!

  • @frank02111 Hahaha!!!! That's a great story bro, you should write a story about Maryann I'm already interested in it... I'm young, well 24 and I feel that every chick just blows anyone these days. It''s cool to think of a time when it actually meant something.

  • @DivinityOfDoom quite Frank

  • I don't know what to say. this album aahhhhhh.....relief from life.....

  • I think is is one of the best songs on the album, hell, the whole album is fantastic! This song is one of many hidden gems on the bands albums.

  • @Henry8544 I own the album back in my high school days and everyday my classmate and me enjoyed very much singing along. One of the best albums ever !

  • I thought you were my man lol

  • I know it sounds like Bugsy Malone at the end...

  • has a total Paul Williams feel,

  • Nunca me pillareis. Despertad, hormigas. The Alice Cooper Time is over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over: the sixteen demons denounced by Alice reduced.

  • @mjwandstar what the FUCK are you talkin about.!?!? The Cooper time will always be there!

By the way, you suck ass!

  • doeas anyone know the guitat tab ?

  • i can still remember all the words to this .

  • Awww I miss this 8-track . . . I played the hell out of it!

  • @RupertDCD27 i still have the 8 track, and still play it alot.. i can't believe my player still works, and it still sounds pretty darn good.

  • Maryanne.....

  • mary ann i thought you were my man ? lol

  • a frog and a wolf,, mating,,?? wtfuck would the baby be?

  • @pkrwd Terrifying.

  • a hidden gem on the album. who knew alice could be melodic.. I was about 4 when this came out, and i listened to my older sister's records alot - this one is no exception. between the two of us, we probably wore the grooves off this record. loved all the songs. i remember tearing all the band members cards out of the inner cover - and of course taking the big billion dollar bill out of it - thinking i was rich -- if you remember the album, you know what i'm talking about..

  • @jandy1719

Did you take the bill to the bank?

  • @MrSainttyler hahahaha - no, i was probably too short to reach the counter then...

  • Very lovely ! Really has that 1920's / 30's caberate thing going on in it .

  • Love it

  • Love it

  • Love the soft piano work that leads perfectly into I Love The Dead.

  • This album came out in 73! You can say it sounds like this or that. Truth be told , Alice has been at it since the 60's. I think Alice sounds like Alice and this is one of many awesome albums that came out the year i was born. Love to death! pun intended!

  • @tamesvector except its off billion dollar babies and love it to death :P

  • The key word in the song mentions Maryann as a Man! When this was recorded it was a shocker to mention homosexuality.

  • mary ann was alice coopers cats name that is what this song is about

  • @tmtmoormr Sorry, but THAT is STUPID!! .. No offence .

  • This is a take off on a song in the 1920's... AC just jockeyed the words a bit.... (the end)

  • I love this song, I never thought Alice Cooper would have a song named after my name. Id love to date him.

  • @littlemissorganic so would i... and it's my name too :D

  • sounds like paul mccartney

  • ,,yeah it does if you think about it,,,lol

  • Love this song. Always wished it was longer.

  • Alice Cooper..i love him. (without being gay, that is)

  • ça faisait longtemps que cette cassette a disparu pourquoi n'a-t-ilpas continué dans ce style doux oùil était plus émouvant ?

  • I saw once where Marilyn Manson called Alice his father cause without him there would never be a Marilyn Manson.

  • @claypigeon77 If there is a reason to hate Alice Cooper, I suppose that would be it then.

  • was this song a remake of something old ?

  • @PupuTheClown No, this was an Alice Cooper original. From the Billion Dollar Babies LP.

  • ,,I know how musicians sometimes do other people's songs, it sounds like something from between 1910-1935, who played the piano ?

  • @PupuTheClown It was Bob Dolin on Piano.

  • bem massa !!!

  • I saw Alice Cooper live back in the 70s at Madison Sq. Garden...great concert. Those days were fun...all the great groups toured, The Who, Led Zep, Tull, Bowie, The Band, Elton, Deep Purple... and tickets were so cheap. Nothing good lasts forever, I guess.

  • @mattjackleroy Madison Sq. Garden!NY?I wish I saw him there i live here up near Albany.I am 12 and girl.I wish I could see him every day of my life...

  • love the piano!

  • Alice covers so many different styles. Not too many bands do songs like Mary Ann,Alma mata, only women bleed etc to Dangerous tonight. Steven .Fantastic.
