Im an egineer and when I see these kind of huge stones. There is now way they could have done it with simple tools. U can definately recognize drill holes and straight lines, which are impossible just by hand. And were talking about diorite, so u have to use at least diamond cutting tools to get it done. Recent carbon dating has put the site at 1500 years old by Dr Alexei Varich. Varich is quite an authority on Puma Punku and has published a doctorate thesis and peer-reviewed papers. However, even though the site is more modern than people thought, its still a hell of an achievement.

I didn't say it were Aliens, but there are a lot of puzzles all around us, which doesnt fit in our vision of mankind and their timeline of technology. But there are some common things. I mean in thousands of years with humans, the truth is always in advance of the civilization which claimed status and advanced. The pyramid at Giza is older (almost 5000 years old), and shouldnt be casually brushed to one side, it isjust as impressive as Puma Punku. e.g granite was used in the pyramids King's chambers and was cut very accurately and level. How was that done ???

@FelipeSparx29 You really don't have to trust anyone. Pretty much all scientific results are freely available these days. Search on google scholar. Also, scientific dogma isn't what you think it is. People are rewarded for providing good evidence for upsetting theories. Take the recent findings of the weight of the proton. This is a huge upset for quantum field theory, a highly accepted theory. However, these results are not being ignored because they are backed up by very good evidence.

The books of the bible don't display an age on when we were put on this planet, and there are many "gaps" anyhow. So how would this change the religion at all? My master in stone masonary and I use (CNC) machines with custom router bits to cutt rounded edges into stone like that for granite countertops. we can do other special cutts that are compounded with high percision to slope water using 1" granite. Butt looking at this archalogical site , it seems that technology would match if not be much better than today's technology.not saying it's aliens just mabey a diff system

Im an egineer and when I see these kind of huge stones. There is now way they could have done it with simple tools. U can definately recognize drill holes and straight lines, which are impossible just by hand. And were talking about diorite, so u have to use at least diamond cutting tools to get it done. And you also need the abillity to plan, design, communicate and purpose. So who made this more than 10.000 BC? I dunno but I know our taught history is wrong. maybe the Sumerians were right...

I personally believe that older civilisations dedicated their life to architecture/engineering/religion and sheer work ethic. @legbreaker Where is your source for it being 10,000 years old ? That is a figure that is usually cited on sci-fi websites and fantastical videos. Recent carbon dating has put the site at 1500 years old by Dr Alexei Varich. Varich is quite an authority on Puma Punku and has published a doctorate thesis and peer-reviewed papers. However, even though the site is more modern than people thought, its still a hell of an achievement.

I didn't say it were Aliens, but there are a lot of puzzles all around us, which doesnt fit in our vision of mankind and their timeline of technology. But there are some common things. I mean in thousands of years with humans, the truth is always in advance of the civilization which claimed status and advanced. You are correct that this is fairly typical. For instance the Giza Pyramids were made with a stones from the nearby quarry across the Nile and with stones in a nearby quarry. However, having a quarry nearby is not a necessity by any means. Stonehenge used stones (the inner/oldest circle) seem to be quarried 240 miles away. How is it possible a mystery why it is in scattered ruins??!! Bolivia is right above a fault line. Also, that 800 ton number is just completely mad up. Estimates of the largest stones is ~130 tons. The largest block is 7.81 m x 5.17 m x 1.07 m. Lets assume this was made of LEAD. The stone would still only be 450 tons. This is terrible science. Like weirdly bad.
How can anyone take this seriously when really basic fact checking shows these people are full of it.

Its amazing and intriguing. But be careful not to get swept away in pseudoscience. Puma Punku is dated at being ~1500 years old. Not 17,000. (unless the dating was inaccurate ?). The pyramid at Giza is older (almost 5000 years old), and shouldnt be casually brushed to one side, it isjust as impressive as Puma Punku. e.g granite was used in the pyramids King's chambers and was cut very accurately and level. How was that done ???

I used to believe that it is possible, up until I read Meher Baba said it is not. Read up on him he is fascinating. Anyway it does not suprise me that given the odds of human life (or intelligent life) evolving is incredibly low as there are a ridiculous amount of requirements. And given the fact that solar systems are millions of lightyears away. It makes most sense to conclude it is impossible. For it to be possible space would have to not exist.

I don't go for the UFO theory, I believe that its a simple case of its all happened before,History repeats itself,these pyramids were left to save knowledge for any survivors after global disasters,I noticed the planet alignments in strait line showing and pyramid is left as only safe structure to possibly survive all over the world also proving world wide communication of intelligences,Puma Punku looks like was destroyed by the global disaster

@soldatheero its common knowledge that primitive man had nothing to do with building this place. Not even MAN in our day can do what is seen here, with the tech we have. We just can't do it. @soldatheero ...I do try to see your point of view, but logic just seems to contradict that ancient civilizations did this. If they were so advanced, surely they would of left something more than stones and rocks of great weight behind. Consider this: We are not alone in this universe..Aliens have visited before..shared some tech. with us..If ancients were so advanced, there would be more than lg.stones left behind. They did leave drawings on rocks..some show what we call UFO's.

I believe in Aliens, but there are other explainations Great Pyramids and Puma Punku, it's called Mu (lost Continent). Look It Up and trust me when I say - Human's did build Puma Punku.

There is no proof Puma Punka is 17,000 years old the Americas the earliest human remains only date to 13,000k. And you don't need writing to construct large monuments in Turkey they have 12,000 year old temples the Gobleki Tepe the oldest temples found to date and they were constructed by hunter gatherers who had no agriculture or writing. It's probably related to an earlier unknown civilization South America is full of ancient advanced civilizations but I doubt the 17,000k date.

Religion... it would make all of what they tell people about god null in void...it would wipe out all of what the majority of people believe .... and they won't be able to control the masses anymore.... just start thinking outside the box..

i know i see that point of view too, Its like, If you really feel you need an official government announcement to know the truth, then you haven't done your homework. The real story has been available to you for a long time. The real question is whether you trust yourself, and your own instincts, enough to see when you are being lied to -- and can then forge your own path regardless of what 'THEY' tell you to believe.

@FelipeSparx29 You really don't have to trust anyone. Pretty much all scientific results are freely available these days. Search on google scholar. Also, scientific dogma isn't what you think it is. People are rewarded for providing good evidence for upsetting theories. Take the recent findings of the weight of the proton. This is a huge upset for quantum field theory, a highly accepted theory. However, these results are not being ignored because they are backed up by very good evidence.

@Janicevindy I don't see how anything in this video would change Christianity (I know you said Religion in general, but I'm using a specific example). The books of the bible don't display an age on when we were put on this planet, and there are many "gaps" anyhow. So how would this change the religion at all? A lot of the text in the Holy Bible have originated from Sumer, which existed 6000+ years ago. A lot of "beliefs" of religion today... are simply wrong, because of ignorance.

@katmariebokon This is a made up number. The best guess is around 400-600 AD based on carbon dating and soil layers. Both of which are accepted methods for dating. But honestly there is no evidence for this date. 17,000 years predates humans in NORTHERN American.
