There is nothing uneven about this makeup. The problem is the lighting they used during filming. One side of the model's face is completely in shadow! And he is no fake; he's the real deal!

It is a sexy look.

The makeup is intense and not suitable for most especially older women. It is too harsh.

Also, wearing your hair slicked back completely off your face like that works for very few. It can look very severe and unattractive on the wrong person.

You MUST a very pretty face and great bone structure in order to wear your hair like that. And even then it might not work.

I see many women walking around sporting hair like that absolutely should not be doing so.

Horrible audio by the video maker. Mr. Pretorius didn't finish the look and what's with "I don't have that color"? You're a professional "superstar" make up artist and you don't have colors? There is a tutorial by pixiwoo that is much better than this "professional" demonstration. Mr. Pretorius simply didn't take this video seriously...skipped steps...all in all a disappointment.

I would expect a man with his credentials could mix the colour(s) needed. True professional artists mix their own colours. Why are you defending him? And the audio? What is your connection? He said he didnt have the right colour because it was made 30 years ago, however it still ended up looking pretty much the same as the original even though its been 30 years since he has done it. I obviously think they are good reasons to rebut you, that's why I posted the comment. Because you're comment was overly harsh for a good tutorial which showed you how to do the make-up.

I think the late '80s-early '90s was the best time for makeup in some ways. These days we are so afraid of putting color too near the eyebrow and I can't imagine why; it's so flattering on many people.
