Takumi did not use the handbrake, he used the technique of drift caved in then you have to brake and change down to a sharp shift towards the inside of the corner and operate throttle, brake and steering so you do not use too much contrast and if the steering tires front brake slip a shot of normal light and continue across. a engine blow can be quite dangerous if you dont respond quickly

when the engine stalls the whole driveline will also stall if you dont release the clutch causing the wheels to lockup and its fatal if the car a RWD will cause the car to spin out of control and in a mountain road you just slide off a cliff and it gg for you
