Job 40:15 talks about the Behemoth which is described as a dinosaur. Also Job 41 talks about the Leviathan which would appear to be none otehr than a water-dwelling dinosaur. a true Christian would have to believe in dinosaurs. plus we've got bones and evidence they existed and nothing shows otherwise.

There were rules that were necessary back then before Jesus' sacrifice for humanity that were unnecessary after it. The new testament tells us which laws we are still to obey and leaves out those which no longer apply because of teh new covenant.

To claim that these rules were necessary back then is a statement of absolute ignorance and credulity. Why was slavery necessary? Why did god not only allow it, but endorse it? (Exodus 21: 1-35). Surely an all-knowing god would understand it is immoral to own another person, irrelevant of the time period. Jesus said we must obey the rules of the old testament.
Please direct me to the passages in the new testament which readdress these laws, as I cannot recall seeing such entries. As a matter of fact Jesus himself stated that these laws were not to be changed (Matthew 5: 17-20).

@desdinovaboc They'd have to be quite ignorant to not believe that. the word dinosaur wasnt invented til much later on, but what the Bible describes are definitiely dinosaurs. Job 40:15 talks about the Behemoth which is described as a dinosaur. Also Job 41 talks about the Leviathan which would appear to be none otehr than a water-dwelling dinosaur. a true Christian would have to believe in dinosaurs. plus we've got bones and evidence they existed and nothing shows otherwise.

There were rules that were necessary back then before Jesus' sacrifice for humanity that were unnecessary after it. The new testament tells us which laws we are still to obey and leaves out those which no longer apply because of teh new covenant.

To claim that these rules were necessary back then is a statement of absolute ignorance and credulity. Why was slavery necessary? Why did god not only allow it, but endorse it? (Exodus 21: 1-35). This is only one example of the many divinely instructed atrocities in “the good book” but I think even on its own it is sufficient. Surely an all-knowing god would understand it is immoral to own another person, irrelevant of the time period. Jesus said we must obey the rules of the old testament.

Please direct me to the passages in the new testament which readdress these laws, as I cannot recall seeing such entries. As a matter of fact Jesus himself stated that these laws were not to be changed (Matthew 5: 17-20).
As a human I can tell when it is wrong to do something. I know I wouldn't want my life to end so I know it is not right to take the life of another person. I do not need a fairytale to tell me otherwise.

These stories don't have to be true just like a load of different legends. What makes the bible true and not the koran. No, the Bible has 40 different authors writing about the stories told by the four. There is much more to the bible that has not been included in the finished book.
