Hello, i have a little problem hosting a game on Lord of the Ring Battle for middle Earth on GameRanger. When the game start me and my friend are both in the loby but can't join a game (Serial already in use) i would appreciate it if someone could explain me exactly what to do. (P.S We both have a pirated game)
OK guys this game is a litl complicated on GR.When you instal 1.6 pach dont crack it tri to moun the image on deamon tols works 100%.On some computers its difrent you can crack and you can still play.THe best options in go BUY the game for real money no problems its old and cheap :D

Guys i want to play BFME again! But ofc i want to play a balanced patch. so i'm not sure wether i should play rotwk 2.02 or BT2DC?
If possible give arguments for both versions and im particularly interested in information about activity and level of skill.
I want to play games and not actually wait one day for an opponent and i want to have middle skilled players to compete with not the regular cw uberPro who bashes you over and over again.
pick rotwk 2.02, it has more players and CW is more active, there is also a large skill range on CW atm with a lot of very skilled players along with lots of lower skilled players that are still playing cw.
@moserli I am pretty sure Rotwk is more active than BFME2. And like luke6193 said, get the latest 2.02 patch. It is quite balanced. Although there still are not enough players to have games at every moment, there are many cw plyers who are "middle skilled," not pro. (Like me).
I still play 2.01 patch for fun though, and large games.
@75353866 not exactly, your able to login with a account on gameranger, however only the original EXE file will work to boot the game, therefor you cannot use a cracked one and you have to own the game and use a retail cd.
@dumbow11 EA sold the rights to any Lord of the Rings video game to Warner Bros a while ago, and they're contract was set to run out at the end of 2010. That's my understanding at least.
@dumbow11 The agreement that EA had with New Line Cinema expired. So if the continued the servers any longer, they would have been sued I believe. But hey atleast Game Ranger brought back the servers! Yipee!
@fotaras75 I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Any patch you have will work with gameranger, as long as you play someone with the same patch. Most players play 1.06 or 2.6 these days.
every day there are like 40 games ! there are more games then the original i remember quiet well :)
