I think a lot of people like to say Cliff (Not picking any favorite myself) was the best as a way to show themselves of as a TRUE Metallica fan because they like the old stuff best. I dont see why who plays bass is so important. The only alternative to not getting a new bassplayer is not having any Metallica to listen to since Cliff died. Jason was/is a great performer and Robert is cool too, så why all this neverending yap yap about who is the best?
