You had a ball with that one :). I digg it, great work. It is probably my favorite song. Maybe someday Ill be able to play it, as a guitarist of 6 months- not today though .
Thanks a lot Jeff! Yeah I love this tune. Man... this was like 2 years ago. Time flies... I still love Eric Johnson. But I want to learn how to improvise better. This tune is not as hard as it seems. It's structured. Just take it peace by peace! Best of luck with it, my friend. Thanks, Alex
Thanks a lot. I use pickup positions 1,2,4 and 5 during the song.
Here is the equipment i used:
2000 Fender Highway 1 with 2 Seymour Duncan A2 Antiquities in neck & middle, a hotrail in the bridge. It is modded for 9 way switching, but i'm not using those positions. I also got 3 graph-tec saddles on the top strings.
Into a BOSS Keeley Ultra DS-1. Then into a BOSS ME-30 (delays only). Then into my Fender blonde Blues Junior amp that has a Jensen C12 speaker.
I liked it, you went for your own stylee on that one, which is cool. The solo seemed a bit sloppy but thats because you're one of the first ones I've seen that covers this song and doesn't pile tons of distortion and compression. 4 stars dude.

Very nice. Which pickups are you using?

Yeah, I really like your version of it. The attacks in many areas were much brighter and aggressive. You are very very good.
