I am on 10MBs and I get 2MBs with a Pause delay of 1650ms to 500ms (million of seconds of delay) this is the pause between receiving subsequent blocks of data average should be not MORE than 80-100ms!!?
Virgin although they advertise 20 and 50Mbs broadband speed but the quality (pause gap or delay) makes their connection useless dealing with continuous stream of data -Forget playing online games - watching movie or voip..
test their speed gaps with w.w.w. myspeed.visualware(dot)com

I'm on Virgin 10MB, these are my results
myspeed.visualware - dl 6.54MBs, ul 490kbps, max delay 53ms, quality of service 97%
bbmax - dl 9.1MBs, ul 474 kbps
speedtest net - dl 8.56MBs, ul 480kbps
broadbandspeedchecker - dl 7.8MBs, ul 469kbps
so that's four checks. Looks pretty solid to me. My connection through Virgin is pretty good.
You could be jammed up with adware or something!

I repeat again it is not about the SPEED but the problem lies with the DELAYS measured in ms. a 6.54MB with a delay of more than 500ms is useless for fullstream video or play online games...
And virgin cunningly they never mention about these pause gap or delays which can be detected only by w.w.w. myspeed.visualware(dot)com.
This is the unacceptable.

let me use an analogy. Right now, the internet is a middle class system. An almost perfect vision of even what societies should be like. Anyone has the freedom to put any type of information they want on the internet at any time. By eliminating Net Neutrality, it would basically be like creating a High Class and Low Class system of government where the rich get the goods and the poor get the shitter. Email the companies that advertise on VM. CC those emails to VM, too.Inform the companies that you will no longer be using their products/services,-explain why.VM is making much more revenue from advertisers than they are from their customers.Find alternative products/services that don't advertise on VM and list them, so those companies can see you are serious and going to the competition!
List the alternative companies on websites/ blogs, so other people can do the same.

I really can't see this ever happening, for example if VM were to enforce this rule then us customers would just go to another ISP, if the new ISP then enforces the rule then we'd again move on, if then all ISP's were to enforce this rule then there would be no one on the internet, we just wouldn't pay for it, most of us internet users log-on to smaller sites so I would imagine we would just stop using a limited internet.
At some point the larger websites and ISP's would lose out financially.

If that were to change there would mass uproar about it, we'd simply refuse to pay for an inferior service, companies would literally lose millions, I'd also expect that there'd be by then independent ISP's, there are already many ways to bypass many things on the internet and I would imagine that that would continue but as I previously said I really don't think it will get that far, though as always I do remain open minded and thus open to any possibility and eventuality.

Consistently and continually, a solution that will work. On a worldwide basis we could begin by canceling our internet subscriptions, in the millions, and continue, continue, continue... This is what we would have to do. Remember this. Let them know this would happen, then what would they think? Should we do it?

Now for the guy saying we need to be aggressive I think he means force and that quite simply wont work for reasons I don't think I need explain. There are other ways, on this subject anyway and we know they are out there, because of net neutrality, there are smart people out there, computer wizards and most of them don't work for "the man" most don't care either because they know their way around. Is the question, "What will the people do?" Is it, "Should we do this?"
