This is not futurism. Futurism is a movement which started in the beggining of the 20th century and was coupled to fascism. Filippo Tommaso Marinetti wrote the manifesto.

This video is about populuxe. That's a different thing. Populuxe is an American thing. American, local culture praised in The Jetsons. Futurism was a global movement and much older.

Hi, the music is DEJA VU from Mort Garson's LP Ataraxia The Unexplained (1975). The fashion is from various designers of the 60s like cardin, courreges, rabanne etc.

People tend to think future designs should reflect technological / industrial advances---and nothing else. They overlook possible cultural changes in the future. Example: clothes today are more laid back, more "street", more "body conscious" (rather than plain geometric) -- compared to the clothes from the time this video was made -- because of the emphasis on physical fitness as beauty, the faster pace of life, and the spread of "grassroots" subcultures over the years (hiphop, punk, etc.).
