@thecravenator42069 No, they provide a balanced feel between the left and right foot. Additionally, both pedals feel like a normal pedal mounted on the kick as both pedals act directly on the mechanism as they use no connecting rods. Try them before disregarding them.

The Sleishman twin pedal is not based on central positioning but on creating a twin pedal that has no mechanical delay in the left side pedal due to universal joints. they are still the most natural feeling pedals.

This design was ingenius way back in the 60's when he first designed it, nowadays anyone would rather pick out their favorite pedal, and just buy two of them, and two bass drums. On an electronic kit, your guaranteed the same sound regardless.

Im not saying its a bad idea, it's just unlikely this thing is gonna have the exact feel your looking for.

@CGJ7755 I can think of a multitude of different reason why I'd rather use this than two pedals and two bass drums. First off, this is a $400 solution for central positioning, whereas your suggestion could cost upwards of $1000. Second, drummers aren't required to use their "favorite pedal" to play. This is a common misconception amongst drummers, but in reality, you should be able to play with any pedal comfortably. Lastly, who's to say that this pedal doesn't feel great?

since then, ive already switched back to a double, drive shaft linked pedal arrnagement and one bass trigger. Some pedals have a VERY similar feel, like my axis longboards, that its almost impossible to distinguish left from right. Having never tried this, I can say the idea is pretty damn cool, its just a pity more people dont use them, they need to be marketed more aggressively.
