Fact is, more than 1000 years before European countries even cared about Africa, a good part of it was already colonized by Arabs... and don't forget that pressure from the U.S. after WWII helped ensure that nearly the entire continent was decolonized by 1980.
Do a search on "Imperialism" because Africa is far from decolonized. The natives still have a colonized mindset, still get AIDS because of the White man's plagues, his scientific experiments on Black people. Still the White man is over there getting oil from African land. Sudan is a country to look at also.
First, to call AIDS the "White man's plague" is ridiculous.. The "White" man didn't "create" AIDS. AIDS was caused by the transfer of SIV to humans, and although there are several theories on how that happened, none of them have been confirmed. There are many Arab owned oil companies... I'm not sure which oil companies are in Africa but I'd be willing to bet that there not all owned by the "White" man.
