Those are fully after market engines, and all high performance engines are fickle, but there is more wiggle room with these in the tuning aspect then say a V8.

Plenty of people out there that know how to get them running right. There's a learnng curve with any type of car/engine when you get to this level of performance. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
