It's like trying to explain to an infant what democracy is: An unbelievably naive narrative. Textbooks are objective? Really. You really don't know anything.
I had a teacher that adapted, if the class was right, he was left, if we were left, he were right, just to make us see every argument possible and make our own opinion.
Before the Reagan years rich people payed almost 90% in taxes and still had more money to throw around on pointless shit then most people make in their entire lifetimes.
Well here's an idea that will blow the mind of any one with no tolerance of the 'other' sides point of view :D
I proclaim myself mostly towards social libertarianism (so BOTH a socialist AND a libertarian) and I not only whole heartedly think this is a catchy tune but I 100% agree with the message within this supposedly 'right-wing' song :D
Since when is diversity of opinion and respect for the 'other' point of view a 'right-wing' agenda?!?
That very concept is supposed to be at the heart of 'left-wing' thinking and actions...
The job of the education-system is not supposed to be use to indoctrinate students in the political thinking of the professor (or faculty) but to encourage critical thinking on a variety of subjects
and the idea of professors systematically (and not just occasionally when it 'slips' out) airing their political views where it has no relevance (which only exempts political science and to a degree social studies) should be an affront to ANY ONE who has a critical mind and certainly anyone with a leftist point of view....
Free Speech is for EVERYONE of it is for NOONE... which means it is for the unpopular views... the views that differs for mainstream thinking... there is absolutely NO reason to protect the rights of people saying things everyone agrees with (everyone agrees with them so not much resistance can be expected) :) it is the unpopular views (like at the time equality between races and sexes... like at the time the abolishment of slavery... like at the time... etc.)
This is contrary to the conservatives. It was the Christian conservatives who bashed Little Richard and Elvis when they started dancing, singing and playing guitar and now the same Christian right is dancing, singing, and playing guitar. WTF???
@Nblood1992 What happened was that you lumped in all Christian conservatives as one. What also happened is that times change. Hey, the democrats once looked at blacks as if they were property, and now they look at them as if they're gentle little creatures who should never be offended, while making up fictional stories about the racism of Lincoln's party.
Democrats are dumb hypocrites too. Both of you Conservatives and Liberals got it wrong. Yall need to work together and stop treating each other like enemies.
@LambChowder1 THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE THE ANSWER IS IN THE MIDDLE
I'm not an independent and I'm not an American. You Americans are such a great people. You all are the most open-minded, tolerant, and diverse people on the planet but you all don't know how to get along politically. All of the greatest American Presidents knew how to get along. Reagan for example; he was a great president because he knew how to compromise and he was a centrist. Obama is a great president because he knows how to compromise and he is a centrist.
@LambChowder1 OBAMA IS NO CENTRIST!! Obama is a hardcore leftist. A Democratic Socialist with full Marxist tendancies. There is NOTHING moderate or centrist about Obama. You are living in a bubble if you think that. Also, Reagan and Obama should never be compared on the same level. Reagan was not a centrist. He followed the Constitution of America using Peace through Strength or what the hardcore left called "star wars" Obama has decimated our military and destroyed our American strengths.
What you fail to realize is that Reagan not only raised taxes but he signed the amnesty bill that gave 100,000 Mexican immigrants American citizenship. The American Constitution has its faults. Its not perfect. It, like all of the world's constitutions, is a work in progress. The only one living in a bubble here is you my friend. If Obama was a Marxist like you suggest, then he would have took control of the banks after the Lehman Brothers crash (which he helped fix).
Nothing would make me more excited then seeing a student hold a boombox up in class with this song playing. Or a band playing this song at a High School battle of the bands.
@chargersfan141 do you at least know what i meant by ' witch hunt ', but i guess that as a proud american redneck, you don't know the recent history of your country.
@lynsxm And what recent history you wish to speak of? Is it FDR’s(D) history of interim camps for the Japanese – Americans In the USA during WWII, the 1964 filibuster lead by Sen. Gore Sr.(D) & Sen. Robert Byrd(D) against the 1964 Civil Rights act (that was first past in 1866 when a Republican controlled HOR & Senate, 39th Congress, override Pres. Andrew Johnson(D) veto.), Gov. George Wallace(D) preventing Black college students from enrollment in the University of AL ,,, I got more if you like
@kirindrinker lmao dude, so what you know some history stuff, but you don't solve the problem, the right brothers wouldn't be against indoctrination if it were against "those commie bastards".
And by the way, those who call any American politician a commie have no idea what communism is, so please shut the fuck up ;)
@lynsxm Knew enough to know that your beloved Democratic party was, & still is, the party of Jim Crow laws & the KKK. History, just 50 years in age, has proven the Democrat alliance with racism. Margret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, has a history of speaking at KKK rallies.
@lynsxm You wish to talk about Communism now ?(Since you don't want to discuss the history of your Democrat party & the racism) Let's talk about the 10 pillars of Communism & let's see the similarities with the writings of Marx & the Democrats;
"Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes."
"A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. " (<-- Oh, that's a good one)
"A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. " (<-- Can you say "Death Tax")
@lynsxm Dude, "NOT" comparing the Democratic party to Communism & "NOT" acknowledging the history of racism within the Democratic party is absurd! It was you that barged into this site with the following comment;
"a proud american redneck, you don't know the recent history of your country."
Before you start spouting off at the finger tips about the history of my country you should learn what really happened during that era.
Oh, and you should really not judge people by the color of their neck
@lynsxm Maybe so however, I'm not concerned about what "Is" Communism, I'm concerned about what "Is" Freedom & you can't have freedom when a government provides for one person by taking from another person.
Paul Ryan said that one of the duties of government was to provide a safety net for those in need. Capitalism/Communism is not binary. You can't say you want no government regulations an aid.

@Hello59239 1 congressman doesn't represent the views of a party. Yes, there are some on the right that beleive in this "Safety Net" & hopefully they will be primary'd out this next election. Don't accuse the party, accuse the elected official for misconstruing the text in the Constitution.
There's another side though: Medicare and Social Security have fulfilled good purposes. They helped alleviate poverty. We also had a Prescription Drug Entitlement under Republicans. Right now, people need to band together from both parties to lower the debt.
@Hello59239 You really beleive SS & MC have fulfilled good purposes? LOL!!! at who's expense? A bureaucracy costs money to operate. Where do you think that money comes from? SS & MC are just ponzi schemes designed to inflate the size of government. Those programs have only benefited the bureaucrats that work in government & those that aren't required to pay into it. Once again, government uses force to take money from one person just to give to another while compensating themselves for theft
@Hello59239 You want to lower the debt? Simple, eliminate bureaucracies.
Dept of Education
Dept of Energy
Dept of Consumer Affairs
Dept of Health -n- Human resources
EPA
And so many more. All of these bureaucracies should be operated on a State level of government, not Federal! This idea that "people need to band together from both parties to lower the debt. " is a fantasy! You want the debt lowered? Just create LESS government to spend money on.
@Hello59239 "The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule" ~ H.L. Mencken
