Thats a sick tank! idk what you want to do with it, but I think if you threw some red cherry shrimp in there it could possible get better, but fantastic job!
@Stingraylord because thats not how it works. if the plant as a whole is getting the right amount of light and nutrients, the whole plant will thrive. if there isnt enough to go around, then thats when the leaves closer to the light source will be the only ones thriving.
Thanks for reply,i have 100 gallon of aquarium,well if we take out the gravel it will be around 90g.im planning to put 6 lamps,because i have 3 but theyr not bright enough.And im gonna use 1 10000K,2 6700 k,1 3000K, 2 6500k T5HO 54W lamps,any advise.?

That is an excellent planted discus tank. Please advice me how to keep an algae free environment like yours. My water parameter is very good. The nitrate is under 10ppm. Aquasun lighting 10,000. only 6 hours dayily. Two fluval external filters, and CO2 injection. Water change 20% daily. But I still have gree and hair algae on the plant leaves. Thanks. Joe
Whats a CO2 Pressureizer? And where do I get one? I have some Water Wisterias in mine xD I just planted them from what I heard I don't need a CO2 thing? Just plant them in the gravel and they'll grow.
hi, can u please give me info on what sort of c02 reactor your using, what sort of gravel are u using and what fertilizer do u use and how long do u leave the light on? thanks! u have a sick tank!!!!
Love everything about this tank. The fish rock as well. Great color and they school well. I can't go CO2 high tech so going that high light will just cause an algae bloom.
If I go high tech this tank is definitely where the bar is at. Great job.
this id one of the best fish tanks i have ever seen. i have never had shrimp and the petstore dosnt no a lot about them so do they contribute to anything or just there like fish
One of the best tank! What kind of gravel do you use? I am wondering where the plant get nutrition from since the gravel is just for keeping the plant from floating around. And is it safe to have a tank like this in a bedroom?

That tank set up looks so beautiful, natural, and peaceful to look at with all those real aquatic plants and there vibrant green colour, and even the fish in there, look, beautiful, normal and happy... Perfect.
Nicely done. The whole theory behind the EI method is to provide plants with enough nutrients both macro and micro throughout the week so that they can grow fast given the correct lighting and co2. BTW there's a weekly 50% water change with this method to avoid an accumulation of nutrients in the tank. You can read more about this method at BARR Report website. Feel free to check my tank.
@giggis09 You will definately need a heat, advisably a 200w one or two smaller ones. An air pump is needed if the aeration is not enough for you fish.

I just purchased a Juwel RIO240 tank (62g) with 2x54W T5s.....that makes it 1.75WPG. I m going install a juwel reflector for the bulbs...does that improve the WPGs since light is reflected more?

@meyaxshavat Plants need around 6000 to 7000 Kelvin rating to be useful in the aquarium. 10,000K can work but tends to cause algae blooms.
