  • SHOWWWWWWWWW GOOOOOOOOOOD

  • Dee Ay Emm Enn

  • wow is this a KD140 or something it freaking huge

  • YOOO, u are a beast man!!!

  • I was just watching this and relized when you make a new video know one will recognize you. I don't recognize you in this one. You look soooooooooo diffrent now.

    You sure are a hotty though : )

  • @BazyBeatsWife Yes Baby...you have motivated some huge changes in me that will probably leave people jaw dropped. Thanks to you I am feeling better than I ever have in my entire life.

    BzB :-)

  • @bazybeats I LOVE YOU BABY! YOUR THE BESTEST!

  • @bazybeats

    BzB do you know if the Gibralter Avenger 2 Double Bass will work with a td 4 sx?

    Please tell me I've asked countless people but no one is responding!!

  • @bazybeats so whipped....

  • whoa!! that was sick!! GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

  • You're doing the sissy double stroke roll. Hope you don't do it on the acoustic kit.

  • @THEdrumjunkie15 its so cute that used the word "sissy" with drums...I personally dont think there is anything sissy about any drumming. You are just trying to find inflammatory words to use because you are a jealous hater. But its ok...that goes away with age and wisdom...so there is hope for you. BzB :-)

  • @bazybeats Call them what you want but they look weak. They only sound good because you're doing them on the electronic kit. I'm not jealous. I don't want to play all of these useless fills. I also think sissy is a great word. Go look at Mike Johnston, he even calls them that. I'm sure he's way better than you. And don't use the age argument. I'm a pretty nice guy. I just thought I'd let you know to work on your double strokes because they look weak.

  • The next Neil Peart?

    ...

    I think so.

  • great skills!!

  • @jbr30ERM Thanks

  • I'm 100 % sure tht's somethings wrong. you must put some extra bassdrum sounds in beacuase i can see your feets and hands not move to the beats, or you are freakin' fast with your left foot? or the camera can picture all your moves

  • @mikk1234321 I really did not doctor any of this footage in any way. This is me playing drums period. I do have a slave double bass but that is the only thing that is on the left side of the kit on the floor. BzB :-)

  • wat i would give for this talent

    KEEP ROCKIN'

  • sweet baby jesus that was epic

  • My Firend has that same kit! i lvoe playing it!

  • gud worj btw wot drums do u have cuz when u done sunday bloody sunday cover it sounded different to mine s:))

  • dude you're awesome. do u have any stuff on acoustic?

  • Thanks...yes...I have lots of acoustic vids. check the channel.

    BzB :-)

  • watch how slowly the top symbols recoil.. obviously it isnt sped up

  • I promise you that I did not speed it up. I have no need to fake anything. I do appreciate the complement though. BzB :-)

  • Hey bazy, one question, is it me, or in the electric drums the sound is a bit delayed?

  • I think this one is pretty much ok. On my Bohnam vid somehow the tracks got messed up on YouTube's end. I posted it fine a long while back and then people started telling me that it was out of synch...and it turned out they were right...but this one still looks pretty good to me. Thanks for checking and letting me know though. BzB :-)

  • no problem ;)

    keep rockin'!

  • awesome, what kind of patterns are you playing in the first 10 seconds?

  • it is RRL hands and then RLR foot...I guess I will have to make a vid of this stuff broken down at some point. BzB ;-)

  • yeah because its quite fast. sounds good though!

  • ma che cazzo...hai ucciso il ritmo

  • I dont understand ....Sorry...BzB :-)

  • I played on one of these at guitar center today...it was badass.

  • what type of set is this

  • This set is a TD-20 by Roland. BzB :-)

  • You inspired me. I think I am going to get a set. I had a pearl drum set that I lost in Katrina before I got a chance to practice. It was basically new. What are some good non-electric drum sets to get. I was interested in electric though because I need volume control and it was the reason I couldnt play my last set much. How will it hamper me on learning??

  • I play Pearl when I am playing acoustic too. Thanks for letting me know you were inspired by the vid...that means a great deal to me. BzB :-)

  • sick, 1:21

  • Thanks for the comment. BzB :-)

  • i play drums but im not that good im gettin electric for 2500 soon just gotta do a lil more work and ill have them but ur awesome angel from above

  • Thanks for the comment. BzB :-)

  • Insane

  • I appreciate it. BzB :-)

  • im starting to take up the drums. what kinda electric set would you advise for me to get in a price range about 300-500 dollars?

  • I never suggest that new drummers start out with electronic drums. It can mess up your learning process. If you absolutely have to have an e-kit then just know that the amount you have to spend will not get you much. You can take a look at the Simons kits, the Yamaha and Roland lines are better though. Just Google electronic drums and then put the brand names in that I gave you. I always suggest going to a music store and actually trying them out before you buy. BzB :-)

  • I totally agree with what you just said. When I started to play drums seriously about 5 years ago, i had no option but to play on a yamaha electric kit. As ive already been playing drums for like 5 years before, but not seriously i found that i was learning really fast on the electric kit. But when i transfered over to an acoustic kit i really struggled and it took me a good couple of months to be able to play fluently on a set of acoustic drums like i could on electric.

  • i wish i could but our music store is going out of business :(

  • That was just Incredible!!!!!

  • Thanks...BzB :-)

  • Hey Bazy,

    First time poster. I really enjoy your videos. Are you primarily using a " drop hand foot" combination here? that woudl be RLRFF.

    Thanks,

    Dirk

  • That is one of the combos I use...but I use several different ones. RRLFFF is another of my favorites. along with LRRFFF or just RLFFF / LRFFF. I may have to make a vid of that.

    BzB :-)

  • Yeah,

    I would love to see that. I have trouble with the fff combinations.

  • Thanks again for commenting. I will see about that vid.

    BzB :-)

  • god, it's depressing how shitty even "good" electronic kits sound. I still can't believe no one can replicate the dynamics of a drum head more accurately.

  • there could be several reasons for that such as the way the video/audio has been recorded, youtube compression, the sound reproduction through your speaker system? i have heard these kits at audio technology conferences and they sound amazing through a proper p.a.

  • could you tell me how much the electronic kit your on in this video because im looking to buy an electric kit

  • whats your price range because i can recomend a very good kit that i own and it awsome

  • I'm buying a drums set soon, just starting out. And I'm looking at electronic sets. I've tried acoustic before, and it didn't sound the way I liked, and in a way that discouraged me from playing. And now a few days agao I tried an electronic set in a music store and it sounded great -even for my standards. :P Would you reccommend I go with electric anyway, or acoustic?

  • I always recommend starting out on acoustics until you get your technique down. BzB :-)

  • Youre awesome!! XD

    and I have a little question: I want to start with playing drums, and I saw a Medeli DD501, is this a good drumset to start with?

    Keep up the great work, and thanks :D

  • I suggest all new drummers to start out with acoustic drums while you are establishing your technique. BzB :-)

  • First of all, You Rock!!!!!!!!! Second of all do recomend me buying a electric drum set or a regular drum set? I really want a profesional sound for a cheaper price.

  • Thanks for the complement...but I would need a lot more info to properly advise you on the kit you should get. Things like...how much experience you have, what type of music your playing and the setting where you would play...Are you playing professionally or not. That sort of thing. BzB :-)

  • I'm actually considering buying myself a set of drums. I'm an absolute beginner, and mostly got interested after playing Rock Band. Now the game is a bit too slow for me and I'm considering the real deal.

    I'm mostly looking for something not too intimidating where I could get the feel for it. Since I'm usually moving from place to play I was thinking it might be more appropriate to get an electric kit.

  • awsome.......

  • bel solo!! O.O

  • Im so happy I will take a drum course and I start in september !!

  • Cool...good luck with your drumming. BzB :-)

  • hmm, that was good.

  • I am glad you enjoyed it. BzB :-)

  • awsome

  • great.. =) why dont u buy a better set hahaha

  • Actually..this is the best electronic kit that money can buy...My acoustic kit is a Pearl Master Series...check it out on some of my other vids. BzB :-)

  • and it would sound a lot better if he recorded the sound instead of using the camera's microphone.

  • Yea your F.n "A" right on that...but this was back in the early days when I did not have a sound system in the house to record with...so that is just the way it goes. Damn. BzB :-)

  • hello retard ther is 2 mallets at the bottem of the drum set so yes he is

  • umm... sir lol i need to know if you usig a double bass pedal or not... cuz either way... i'd like you to slow some this down so ya boy can learn a new practice technique or sumtin... if you'd be so kind... I mean we all learn from each-other... lol

    but awesome playing man... keep it up

  • Yep...using double / Slave pedal. I will be making some vids of my signature beats and slowing them down this Summer. I am a school teacher and I have to record on my time off. BzB :-)

  • well sadly not all of us can play an acoustic set where we live for whatever the reason may be, so eletric sets are a wonderful alternative

  • its the same as electric guitars and acoustic, its what the musician does with the instrument that disgraces what they stand for or not. electric drums are an awesome tool

  • no, not exactly. electric/acoustic guitar is more for styles.

    acoustic drums are WAY better than electric! but, also, like me who doesnt hav a TON of room in my house, electric drums are great for small spaces. =]

  • unless you play something like techno where you need electric drums. in this case, it'd be for a style.

  • Actually, I have used the kit to play in R&B bands and Rap Bands...I have even used older electronics to play in Rock Bands...It is all about opening ones mind I guess. BzB :-)

  • i play electronic kits for the versatility in midi and daw's

  • that could be a nice solo

  • Thanks...BzB :-)

  • I like the part where you're playing drums!

  • Thats my favorite too...BzB :-)

  • how did you pay for your td-20?

  • I happen to remember that purchase very clearly...without a doubt...it was a Cash transaction. No credit on that one. BzB :-)

  • sorry i didnt write it properly i meant how much did you play for your td-20

  • I have been playing on them for almost 4 years now. BzB :-)

  • i thought like 6 years and also you bought them for how much?

  • I thought it was like 4 years ago I bought them..but it could have been six...I dont know anymore...time gets fuzzy. I paid 4,500 for the basic kit and then added stuff to it. The basic is going for about 5,000 now. BzB :-)

  • okay thanks

  • do u think i should get a electronic kit or acoustic?

  • Man,how come I didn't see you in Modern Drummer magazine? Great!!!

  • alalalalalalalalala bam bambambambambambambambambambambam crash alalalala dadadaaada rurururururururururmp!!!!!

    alalalalalalalalala bam bambambambambambambambambambambam crash alalalala dadadaaada rururururururururu

    Well then heres a transcription for modern drummer

  • holy $%^&*()

    what else is there to say? just curious, how much does a set like that cost anyway? I can barely play the drums as it is but damn.... you are pretty damn good.

    keep it up

  • A good Roland V-Drum set is close to around $1000, but Simmons kits are around $450 or so.

  • YEEH!!

    nice dude!!!

  • Hey Mr. Reese its Ashley!

    That's so cool that you can play the drums!

  • Thanks for stopping in and sending a comment. Yes...I have been playing drums since I was 14 years old. Mr. R.

  • nice i'm starting to play electric drums. im getting a dm5 pro kit. im 13 =D

  • i was playing electronic drums at guitarcenter today they are fun i dont play drums i play guitar but they wer sweet i liked it because instead of a rubber pad it was a stretchy cloth so it wasnt all PAT PAT PAT PAT PAT!!!! lol

  • Thats funny...because I was at the Sam Ash Store in Tampa today...playing the Yamaha DTXtreme...it was pretty cool...not nearly as awesome as the TD20...but nice and fun. BzB :-)

  • lol

  • hey bazy nice job. i broke my collar bone!!! and i'm a drummer! sucks doesnt it???

  • some seriouse skills there keep it up

  • NO, it's if you can play acoustic drums, you MIGHT be able to play electronic drums, IF you can afford them! :) I play both and I am sure Bazy does also. Keep rocking Bazy, send me a message, I would like to email you sometime. Thanks for "internet lessons" Bazy.

    - Drumslinger

  • If you can play acoustic drums you can play electric drums. But if you can only play electric drums you can't play acoustic.

  • Not neccessarily true. BzB :-)

  • Liked the beginning but then it all started to sound the same. The were not any variatons in your solo,, After 2 minutes is became boring. But some nice tenchniques you got there:P However can you play acoustic drums as well? I like that a lot more than electric drum you can put some feeling in it. And on acoustic kits not every drummer sounds the same. At least that's my opinion.

  • I do have videos that show me playing on acoustic drums...ya just gotta look at my channel. BzB :-)

  • that is some work out you did there

  • You are a great drummer and I love the td-20 I am looking to find the money to get one. I have a td-6xt. Your vids sound great but maybe you should think about playing the drum through the computer and use headsets so the sound will be clearer and mre defined. Just want to help make your videos more effective. Thanks for sharing with us and keep it up

  • R those Roland V drums cause if they are they sound amazing.

  • Yep...they are Roland TD20's and they sound even better in person. BzB :-)

  • woah. O.O

    thats so awesome!

    i gotta admit, thats one of the awesome solos ive heard!

    im just gonna buy a drum kit next month.

    wat do u think is the best for a newbie drummer.? =]

    actually, one of my ambitions is to be an awesome drummer like u and danny(of Tool).

    xP.

  • Sorry if this seems like a noob questions but what kind of e-kit is that? I usually play on my PDP at home but its getting difficult because of neighbors and was wondering if you had any recommendations? thanks.

  • I am playing on a Roland TD20...they are quite expensive though...check out any of the other Roland lines for the best beats for your money. BzB :-)

  • dude i am in the same situation

  • wow man nice footwork, your really great,

    i'd like to see what you can do on a real drum set though

  • hey i heard felt beaters will damage your kick head.

  • They do...The ones I had did not...that was until someone told me that...and then all of a sudden they started chewing up the head. I use plastic beaters now...made by Pearl. BzB :-)

  • That... WAS AWESOME!

  • really nice BzB

  • you gave me tips!

    no one ever on youtube give me work out tips like this(not sarcastic)

    TY bzb

    post on dude!

  • looks like the video is sped up

  • It really is not sped up...but I appreciate the complement. BzB :-)

  • yeah i know, it was just really speedy without fault and very good so it seemed speeded up.

    well done

  • wow tahts fucking amazing! im thinking about getting electric drums are they as good as acoustic

  • talent ppl, talent!!!!!

  • noy funny

  • how much did you set cost??

  • I have a acoustic drums and is ost difficult xD

  • great jop !it´s listen good an very cool(sorry for my terrible english i am german)

  • electronic drums are more handy in terms of space and volume but i gotta say theres nothing like good old natural acoustic drums.

  • Good job. Ekits are great cause if those neighbours are complaining just stick on the headphones.....good times

  • great job! question: I am trading my acoustic drums for and ekit, I'm torn between the yamaha dtxpress, or Roland td6, which do you recommend?

  • Good question...tough call. I like both brands...but I do like Roland more...Roland just seems to always be ahead of the game in technology. BzB :-)

  • hey i need help with some drums i know i want an ekit but what would be the best for the money in your opinion??

  • I dont really shop for electronic drums that much these days. but if I was looking for the best kit for the money I would do a thorough internet search and then go to the music store to talk with the salesmen. I can tell you that the Roland line has been the best drums in the electronic realm for many years now. BzB ;-)

  • TD12 has the TD-20 style hats now, that's the real differense maker. I don't know that that's cheap, good e-drums cost a buttload, but at least that's a new option out there. If you're just looking for great sound, get any old kit and trigger Toontrack or some other sampler - I've seen kids coming up with crazy good sound that way on crappy e-kits - but if you want feel you will pay for high-end Rolands.

  • I would agree with that statement. Great comment. BzB :-)

  • hey mate why electronic drums and not the proper ones?

  • That is truly a funny question. What constitutes "Proper"? I play all drums...check out some of my other vids.

    BzB :-)

  • i have a yamaha dtxpress and its awesome. its easier to work with in my opinion that a roland. however, rolands have a more realistic drum like feel. they are way more simulative of a real kit. either way u go, i think u will be please : ) p.s. let me know which one you went with and how u like it.

  • plz can u post another video?

    steve

  • how much do the drums cost? i want some

  • wow lol

  • Awesome drumming man!!! which I could play like that. What pattern are you playing at about 1:30 is it BBRLRL BBRLRL sounds good.

  • All of the stuff I am doing in this vid is just off the cuff...top of my mind...making it up as I go...mostly from beats that I have worked on before and just added stuff to it and changed it as I go. BzB :-)

  • where u get those?

  • What electric drum kit I Should get?

    It should be pretty chep. I'm pretty good drummer. (played 6 years now, duh)

  • Great drumming, my friend. How long have you been playing?

  • Thanks...I have been at it for 27 years now. BzB :-)

  • Whoa, that destroys my 5.

  • So your telling me.... you play double bass with one pedal and tom on your Pearl too?

  • no he has a double bass pedal

  • haha the very start of this video sound like the intro the the KISS song, creatures of the night:P

  • them look better then the ones i played

  • good

  • wh ydon tu d oit thne

  • dude, ur typing is horrible....and nice one by the way bazy

  • lol rolls on eletric kits..so cheating

  • Everything I do on this kit...I also do on my Pearl Master Studio kit...What Now? :-)

    BzB :-)

  • olock2112

    lol rolls on eletric kits..so cheating

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I'm new to electric drums...what is cheating about rolls on electric drums??
    Aren't they the same as regular tubs, one hit one sound? You don't mean playing back recorded rolls do you?
    Sorry for being so dumb...thanks.
  • There's no technical reason why you couldn't produce multiple sounds from one strike, but that doesn't mean that's what he's doing.
    After all, you could do the same with an acoustic kit too... You could just edit the audio signal after recording the video to add extra drum sounds, so you might as well say "It's a video, therefore he's cheating."
  • Why does your electric kit sound so good, I got a Yamaha kit and it sounds horrible! and the pads is waayyyyy smaller
  • I have not checked the bit rate on the sampling of the Yamaha...It may be the sample rate.
    BzB :-)
  • because yours is cheap and cheap kits sound cheap?
    I have a very low-end roland kit - it doesn't sound too great either. they want you to get the expensive ones, that's it.
    top notch electro kits sound great, but if you think about what's "in them", they're way too expensive.
  • 2,178.06 USD cheap? then how much is the expensive ones?
  • ok. so then it's maybe old. and if it's new AND expensive AND bad sounding... why did you buy it? ;-)
  • in the description you say you left the mistakes in.....I don't hear any mistakes....YOU ARE AN AWESOME DRUMMER!!!!!!
  • Thanks for the complements...BzB :-)
