catching him was easy. i send out my pachirisu to use super fang which reduced his HP to half then discharge which reduced his hp a little and para him then 2 more super fang to reduce his HP to nearly 1 then my 3rd ultra ball captured him.

@JerryTurner29 For multiple reasons. To meet new people, have friends, have others buy extra copies to hold the extra events, etc. Its true not everybody has the events near them, but it also doesn't mean you can't trade for those event pokes either. I'm lucky living in NY.

1) Get the Mystery Card from the man in the green sweater in any Pokemon Mart so that you can enter and unlock the inn.

2) Get Darkrai from any Pokemon Mart when you complete Ranger 2.

In order to get him without an event or AR you had to have the glitch in the first batches of Japanese D/P. Chances are you don't have one. So yea, cheat or event only. Nothing less.

'cause here in Aruba most of the times they don't have events, they sell the games but that's as far as you can get 'cause they don't do those events here so that you can get the legendary pokemon so it's actually kind of like a rip-off

Next to Iron Island called New Moon Island, but you have to get the event first to unlock the island and to get there. The event is through Nintendo, I do not know when/if Germany had the event.

Unless you can tell me how I used some illegal device on my game, its still legit. The glitch was unintentional by them, and when found out and made publicized by Nintendo of Japan, they warned you to use it at your own risk and if you did, they had a way to fix your game(Wifi download, but games that crashed from the glitch had to be sent in). So please don't try, Nintendo never claimed ILLEGAL, just a bad glitch.

When I attempt to catch a legendary, I try my best to catch it without a master ball. I love the thrill of the catch. But for those of you who just want to collect them and use a master ball, then don't be ashamed, there isn't anything wrong with that. Although I frown on those who hack the game and just give themselves a pokemon, instead of catching it all together.

Do some research before you look like an idiot. Its not a game shark cheat, nor was any third party stuff used. It was a glitch in the early D/P games. You can't do that anymore in the Japanese games, and never was in any other version from what I was told.

Although I live in NY, and go to Nintendo World (Miss the Pokemon Center though), I never bothered getting a new DS and copy of D/P for the promos. When Platinum comes out, I'll probably pick up a new DS.
