I have to say that the whip catch takes more than a week to master. their are a lot of variables to take into account. how high you throw it and when you catch it. knowing what to do in a trick may take a short amount of time, but actually getting to the point where it is clockwork and routine, that takes a little longer than a week.

sorry, you are wrong. Diabolo is what is shown in this video. Chinese yo-yo has flat discs on the sides, not hemispheres. Also, the piece in the middle is longer. See the wikipedia articles for "diabolo" and "chinese yo-yo"
