I didn't have to, I wanted to. I mentioned this because Salafis are so villainized by the people of ignorance who should take time in trying to understand why we take from the Salaf and only the Salaf in our interpretations of Islaam. Salafiyyah is Islaam and its people are beautiful upholders of the Sunnah in a time far away from when Allah's original Message was delivered.
The word Kafir means someone whose heart, sight, and hearing is covered up from the truth, leaving them to be upon falsehood and misguidance. Why would you want to be a kafir away from the Religion of the Prophets (peace be upon them).
The word kufr is derived from when a farmer puts seeds into the ground and then covers them up. It doesn't mean infidel or anything foolish like that. You should ask yourself, if your previous sources on Islaam have misinformed you of such a major point of belief in Islaam and Arabic language, what else are you misinformed about?
I love you for the sake of Allah (SWT). I don't even know you, but I love your intelligence and sincerity in this one post that I've read, and it's enough to love you for the sake of Allah (SWT). May Allah (SWT) bless you and your family and anyone you love with Jannat-ul Firdaws and forgive you your shortcomings, and perfect your character.
I mentioned this because Salafis are so villainized by the people of ignorance who should take time in trying to understand why we take from the Salaf and only the Salaf in our interpretations of Islaam. I wanted to convey a message that Salafiyyah is Islaam and its people are beautiful upholders of the Sunnah in a time far away from when Allah's original Message was delivered. I felt that showing Salafis who are in proper practice of Islaam would convey that message insha Allah.
Also, to make a statement that you will never know something is a breach of Tawheed. We do not know what we will come to know of in the future unless we have been informed of that specifically by Allah and His Messenger (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam). We must rather say, Allah Knows Best! Refer to Kitab At-Tawheed by Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab (raheemullah). May Allah Will for us to continue to work on our 'Aqeedah until we reach the grave, ameen!

Assalam Alaikum. I search every where in youtube for Baasim As-Subay'ee but couldnt find any thing. Any one has a link for this great Qari? JazkaAllah.
Assalamualikum Tabeeb. I am a Muslim brother who is asking about the exoricism in Islam. Will the jinn come back for you again or will the jinn leave you alone. Thank you. May Subhan Allah bless you!
Wa 'Alaikum Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barrakatuhu ya akhi feel Islaam. The Jinn may come back, but there are certain verses to read if they do and there is a nasal remedy to use if they do which irritates and hurts them. The main reasons why people get possessed is 1) They commit Shirk and do not understand Tawheed. 2) They commit acts and have beliefs that constitute Kufr. 3) They are excessive in sins and are away from the remembrance of Allah. Anyone can message me for the details.
Listening to music, looking at nude bodies, going outside not clothed properly (according to Shari'ah Islaamiyyah), being excessive in committing bid'ah (innovations) in the religion, not having the correct 'Aqeedah (beliefs), not saying Bismilah when you take off your clothes, not saying "Allahumah innee a'oothu bika min al-Khubthee wal Khabaa 'eeth" before you enter the bathroom are all things that can get you possessed.
Wa iyyak ya akhi fees-Sunnah! Go to SalafiAudio (dot) com for some great audios to put on your site. Glad to find you're linking things to your site. Spread the Barrakah insha'Allah. May Allah Help you, Guide you and Reward you in your da'wah and all of your ventures, Ameen!
c'mon now u don't have to say that ...it was completly uncalled for..i'm not insulting your religion or something else...it just sounds..a bit out of this world...but it's amazing nontheless.....i apologize if you were insulted by my comment
It is actually from our belief that if someone can not stand the Quran, it is because they are possessed. The way we perform exorcism is by reciting certain verses from the Quran that focus on Monotheism in order to scare the demon into repenting to God or to burn and kill the demon. I wasn't joking or trying to be insulting when I said what I said, I was being sincerely serious.
The reason why this sounds "out of this world" as you put it is because it is not from this world indeed! It is the pure unaltered speech of God in its original language just as it was when delivered from the Heavens by the Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him).
Assalam Alaikum wa RahmatAllah brother. Thanks for sharing the beautiful recital firstly. Basically some one i know gets quite agitated when I put on Quran recordings. Asks me to wear headphones or suggests to really lower down the volume. NOw, he doesn't seem possessed at all, he is a Muslim and seems perfectly normal. How do we explain this? Thanks and JaakAllah.
If he is getting agitated by the Quran then this is the most major indicator that he is possessed. If he is agitated by the Quran then I'm sure he doesn't pray either, because in order to pray you must at least hear yourself recite the Quran. The majority opinion from the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah in the earliest times until now is that the person who leaves off all prayer is a kafir. This doesn't give us the permission to call someone a kafir, but we should use this to have fear of an evil end.
There are many different levels of possession and a few ways it manifests itself. It isn't always the case where people go into convulsions; make noises and loose total composure of themselves however that can be the end result of possession if not treated promptly. Some subtle signs are erratic behavior in speech and action. An example of erratic behavior is that a person may just start dancing for no reason. Turning away from acts of worship, obedience and remembrance of Allah is a major sign.
Other signs are paralysis of limbs, being quick to anger or crying, sitting on the toilet for a long time and talking to oneself. When my wife was in a public bathroom she heard a Christian woman singing "Gospel" songs while sitting on the toilet, she was definitely possessed. Other symptoms are constant headaches, pain in the limbs, numbness in the limbs or face (this sign may mean the time for the Jinn to take full control is at hand), irregular menstruation for women, not producing children.
Signs while one is asleep are nightmares such as seeing ghosts, creatures becoming visible unexpectedly, seeing creatures in strange forms, seeing people or creatures trying to do him harm, talking loudly or moaning in one's sleep, anxiety and fear upon waking, insomnia. However, the most major signs are in the refusal to hear the Quran and to remember and obey Allah. Send me a private message as to what area you live so that I may direct you to a trustworthy Masjid upon Tawheed and the Sunnah.
I encourage all my fellow non-Muslims to leave the darkness and come into the light by accepting Islam. Islam is a peaceful blessing and it is a way of life. May Allah guide us all to the right path. I accordingly invite you to Islam and see what this beautiful religion has to offer; >WhatsIslam*com >TurnToIslam*com >ShareIslam*com >IslamCode*com >SearchForIslam*com >ImranHosein*org >Search Zakir Naik & Yusuf Estes Please copy and paste this message to spread the word.
Although he is astonishing mashallah, but what is more amazing is Surat Alnsaa` itself. Surat Alnisaa` is just one of the wonders came to the mankind. I can see why most earlier Arabs became Muslims immediately after listening to Quraan. No human ever can come with such eloquent wording. Arabs has nothing except Islam and we should keep informing ppl about it.
Wa Iyyak ya Habibi! I listened to the recitor and the voice sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe you should ask the source of where you got it from? Jazak Allahu Khair for the post!
My dear brother, he does not even look like Saad al-Ghaamdi (hafidhullah). This is Baasim Ibn Muhammad As-Subay'ee (hafidhullah). He is the Imam of Masjid al-'Abud in the city of Riyaadh, Saudi Arabia.
ALLAHU BARIK FIYK YA TabeebAbiDawudMD IT SHAKES THE HEARTS OF THE BELIEVING MUSLIM IF HEAR SUCH BEAUTYFUL RECITATION AND VOICE AND HE HAS TOO A VERY GOOD STLYE MASHA´ALLAH.MAY ALLAH REWARD YOU AND THIS SHAYKH AND GIVE YOU JANNAH YA AKHIY, AMEEN.MAY ALLAH LET YOU BE KHAYR FOR THE UMMAH AKHIY ABU DAWUD (AS YOU ARE TABEEB INSHA´ALLAH):)
Mashaa'Allah :'( beauuuutiful, truly exquisite. Very soothing & touching, may Allah bless this reciter and the same lovely du'aa as brother muhannadpato's below
I am not in a position of a judge of these so-called 'wahhabi' or 'salafi'! But I love them as much as I love my brother. They not contradict even a mm to the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet SAW. By the way...Masha Allah, My favourite recitation, Sheikh Baasim.
The Wahaabi teaching is no longer than 2 Centuries old. Muhammad ibn Wahaab the founder of this sect was labelled Kuffar by his own father Abdul Wahaab (ra) as a result of devious teachings. Famous names among this sect, Ibn Taymiya, Albani, Dr Zakir Naik, Ismail Dehlwi etc etc. Do not intepret Quran and Sunnah yourself as many salafis do today, follow the teachings of the educated pious predecessors and follow lineage back to the heart of Islam, The holy prophet sawas, blessed sahaaba etc.
Salafis, also known as Atharis (Textualists) interpret the Qur'an and the Sunnah only with the narrations of the Sahabah found in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir At-Tabari, Tafsir al-Qurtubi, Fathul Bari, etc. Also, Dr Zakir Naik is not a Salafi and I do not know who Ismail Dehlwi is. I am not a Wahhabi, I only take from the agreed 'Aqeedah and Manhaaj of the Sahabah and their students that can be found in their authenticated narrations.
Why would you worship Allah in a manner that Muhammad (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) did not worship Allah? The Sunnah was revealed from the Heavens, your bid'ah was not. Muhammad (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "Whoever innovates or accomodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allah, His Angels and the whole of mankind." (Bukhari 12/41 and Muslim 9/140)
The great Sahabi Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu 'anhu) said, "Indeed the most detestable of things to Allah are the innovations." (Bayhaqi's As-Sunan al-Kubra 4/316) The student of the Sahabah and scholar Yahya Ibn Katheer (d 129 H) -rahimullah- said, "If you meet a person of innovation along the path, then take a path other than it"
1. as brother Tabeeb Abi Dawood MD puts foreward it is haram to innovate. And the second answer to this saying that there are good bidah is replayd with an q. Who is there to say what is a good bidah and what is an bad bidah? I'm sure you disagree with for ex. the shia or the deobandis or the brawerli sect because of some bidah they got in their belif and actions. But to them this is a good bidah so how can you answer these?
It could be a mixture of a misunderstanding and the spreading of rumors. What better way is better than following the way of the Salaf and not following anything that opposed their way? E-mail/Message me with your grievances and we'll talk more about it insha'Allah. Because I could never understand why people hate the Salafi Manhaaj, it's so pure and free from all innovation, shirk, and kufr.
The Salafis teach that every Muslim must interpret the Qur'an and the Hadith only with the understanding of the Sahabah and the Students of the Sahabah (i.e. the Salaf/Predecessors). Thus, the one who interprets all of Islam with the understanding of the Sahabah and implements all of Islam only in the way that the Sahabah implemented Islam, then this person will be free from shirk, kufr and bid'ah and will have his deeds accepted by Allah and enter Paradise insha'Allah.
Whoever follows the Sahabah will enter Paradise, "And the first to embrace Islâm of the Muhâjirûn (Sahabah of Makkah) and the Ansâr (Sahabh of Madinah) and also those who followed them exactly. Allâh is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success." (Quran 9:100)
The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "Verily, the Children of Israel split into 72 sects, and my nation will split into 73 sects, all of them being in the Fire, except one." They (the Sahabah) said, "And which one is that O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "That which I am upon today and my Companions." (Reported by Imam at-Tirmidhee and al-Haakim) The Companions are an integral aspect of the Sunnah which may not be ignored!
So i suppose salafi are Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jam'ah? I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah, but i dont label myself that, nor sunni, nor salafi. I am jut muslim that follows the Sunnah of Rasulallah SAWS. Why do people need to put such titles on themsevles? what is better than to say I AM MUSLIM? it is HARAAM to say otherwise.
I see that you are confused regarding the issue, "I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah, but i dont label myself that" You just labeled yourself with a term that you said you do not label yourself with? "I AM MUSLIM? it is HARAAM to say otherwise." According to your understanding of "HARAAM" you committed harram when you said, "I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah".
Also, you are saying that the Sahabah and their students committed harram, this is because they were the first to use such statements as "Ahlus-Sunnah" and "Ahlul Hadeeth", where do you think these statements came from? They came from the Sahabah after the death of Muhammad (sal Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam) because the Sahabah witnessed things in this Ummah that the Prophet did not witness, one way of dealing with the fitnah was to call each other by such names.
The first Muslims to call themselves other than the word Muslim were the Sahabah in order to differentiate themselves from the Khawarij, Murji'ah, Qadariyyah, etc. Also, the ones who gave those deviant groups those names that I just mentioned were the Sahabah. The Sahabah used to warn against the People of Innovation in order to not succumb to the disease that lay in their hearts nor to be fooled by their beautified speech.
It teaches to follow quran and the sunnah in the understanding of the first muslims also named as-Salaf (The Salaf; the salaf are the first 3 genaration.)
JazaakAllahu Khayr for the added info under 'About This Video'. It is beneficial for all Qur'aan clips to indicate which soorah and ayah is being recited, so that the individual may follow along inshaaAllah.

Thanks and JaakAllah.
amansaysmtf 3 years ago
If he is getting agitated by the Quran then this is the most major indicator that he is possessed. If he is agitated by the Quran then I'm sure he doesn't pray either, because in order to pray you must at least hear yourself recite the Quran. The majority opinion from the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah in the earliest times until now is that the person who leaves off all prayer is a kafir. This doesn't give us the permission to call someone a kafir, but we should use this to have fear of an evil end.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 3 years ago
There are many different levels of possession and a few ways it manifests itself. It isn't always the case where people go into convulsions; make noises and loose total composure of themselves however that can be the end result of possession if not treated promptly. Some subtle signs are erratic behavior in speech and action. An example of erratic behavior is that a person may just start dancing for no reason. Turning away from acts of worship, obedience and remembrance of Allah is a major sign.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 3 years ago
Other signs are paralysis of limbs, being quick to anger or crying, sitting on the toilet for a long time and talking to oneself. When my wife was in a public bathroom she heard a Christian woman singing "Gospel" songs while sitting on the toilet, she was definitely possessed. Other symptoms are constant headaches, pain in the limbs, numbness in the limbs or face (this sign may mean the time for the Jinn to take full control is at hand), irregular menstruation for women, not producing children.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 3 years ago
Signs while one is asleep are nightmares such as seeing ghosts, creatures becoming visible unexpectedly, seeing creatures in strange forms, seeing people or creatures trying to do him harm, talking loudly or moaning in one's sleep, anxiety and fear upon waking, insomnia. However, the most major signs are in the refusal to hear the Quran and to remember and obey Allah. Send me a private message as to what area you live so that I may direct you to a trustworthy Masjid upon Tawheed and the Sunnah.

Do not intepret Quran and Sunnah yourself as many salafis do today, follow the teachings of the educated pious predecessors and follow lineage back to the heart of Islam, The holy prophet sawas, blessed sahaaba etc.
empeemp 4 years ago
Salafis, also known as Atharis (Textualists) interpret the Qur'an and the Sunnah only with the narrations of the Sahabah found in Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir At-Tabari, Tafsir al-Qurtubi, Fathul Bari, etc. Also, Dr Zakir Naik is not a Salafi and I do not know who Ismail Dehlwi is. I am not a Wahhabi, I only take from the agreed 'Aqeedah and Manhaaj of the Sahabah and their students that can be found in their authenticated narrations.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
who says innovation is kufr?
Bidah ul Hassanah is rewarding and a teaching of the Blessed Prophet sawas.
Yes innovate, but do not contradict Quran and Sunnah.
empeemp 4 years ago
Why would you worship Allah in a manner that Muhammad (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) did not worship Allah? The Sunnah was revealed from the Heavens, your bid'ah was not. Muhammad (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "Whoever innovates or accomodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allah, His Angels and the whole of mankind." (Bukhari 12/41 and Muslim 9/140)
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
The great Sahabi Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu 'anhu) said, "Indeed the most detestable of things to Allah are the innovations." (Bayhaqi's As-Sunan al-Kubra 4/316) The student of the Sahabah and scholar Yahya Ibn Katheer (d 129 H) -rahimullah- said, "If you meet a person of innovation along the path, then take a path other than it"
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
1. as brother Tabeeb Abi Dawood MD puts foreward it is haram to innovate.
AbuIsaSalafi 4 years ago 4
WOW!
SUBHANALLAH! altho i despise salafi and wahaabi teachings, they do have amazing voices.
empeemp 4 years ago
It could be a mixture of a misunderstanding and the spreading of rumors. What better way is better than following the way of the Salaf and not following anything that opposed their way? E-mail/Message me with your grievances and we'll talk more about it insha'Allah. Because I could never understand why people hate the Salafi Manhaaj, it's so pure and free from all innovation, shirk, and kufr.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
What do salafi teach? i am only trying to educate myself, and not trying to provoke anything. hehe
SultanMehmed 4 years ago
The Salafis teach that every Muslim must interpret the Qur'an and the Hadith only with the understanding of the Sahabah and the Students of the Sahabah (i.e. the Salaf/Predecessors). Thus, the one who interprets all of Islam with the understanding of the Sahabah and implements all of Islam only in the way that the Sahabah implemented Islam, then this person will be free from shirk, kufr and bid'ah and will have his deeds accepted by Allah and enter Paradise insha'Allah.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
Whoever follows the Sahabah will enter Paradise, "And the first to embrace Islâm of the Muhâjirûn (Sahabah of Makkah) and the Ansâr (Sahabh of Madinah) and also those who followed them exactly. Allâh is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success." (Quran 9:100)
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "Verily, the Children of Israel split into 72 sects, and my nation will split into 73 sects, all of them being in the Fire, except one." They (the Sahabah) said, "And which one is that O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "That which I am upon today and my Companions." (Reported by Imam at-Tirmidhee and al-Haakim) The Companions are an integral aspect of the Sunnah which may not be ignored!
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
So i suppose salafi are Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jam'ah? I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah, but i dont label myself that, nor sunni, nor salafi. I am jut muslim that follows the Sunnah of Rasulallah SAWS. Why do people need to put such titles on themsevles? what is better than to say I AM MUSLIM? it is HARAAM to say otherwise.
SultanMehmed 4 years ago
I see that you are confused regarding the issue, "I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah, but i dont label myself that" You just labeled yourself with a term that you said you do not label yourself with? "I AM MUSLIM? it is HARAAM to say otherwise." According to your understanding of "HARAAM" you committed harram when you said, "I am of the Ahlus Sunnah wal jama'ah".
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
Also, you are saying that the Sahabah and their students committed harram, this is because they were the first to use such statements as "Ahlus-Sunnah" and "Ahlul Hadeeth", where do you think these statements came from? They came from the Sahabah after the death of Muhammad (sal Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam) because the Sahabah witnessed things in this Ummah that the Prophet did not witness, one way of dealing with the fitnah was to call each other by such names.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
The first Muslims to call themselves other than the word Muslim were the Sahabah in order to differentiate themselves from the Khawarij, Murji'ah, Qadariyyah, etc. Also, the ones who gave those deviant groups those names that I just mentioned were the Sahabah. The Sahabah used to warn against the People of Innovation in order to not succumb to the disease that lay in their hearts nor to be fooled by their beautified speech.
TabeebAbiDawudMD 4 years ago
It teaches to follow quran and the sunnah in the understanding of the first muslims also named as-Salaf (The Salaf; the salaf are the first 3 genaration.)
