I have to say out of all the gymnasts who are amazing at floor routines, including Shannon Miller and all the greats, I truly love watching Shawn Johnson the most. It might be something in her face when she's out on the floor but the way she approaches everything (from her facial expressions) in my opinion is "Let's f***ing do this!"

I'm nothing but an amateur spectator - I took one tumbling class in third grade and could land a mean cart-wheel - but this is amazing to me - I am particularly struck by the fact that she completes the rotations on all of her skills IN THE AIR and then lands the skill. I guess I'm just saying she has great amplitude which always amazes me because they're basically jumping on slightly bouncy concrete.
