its tyler cromwell he builds some very good engines and chassis he specializes in briggs vanguard v twin engine i think thats what it is sounds like mine
Pardon me for asking, as this is the first lawnmower race I have watched.
What size engine does it use, and how high does it rev? I know the 5 hp Briggs go-kart engines rev 7000, as we have built one, but I wasn't sure the larger engines would take that kind of abuse.
Yea, some people really go Bananas modifying these small engines! But then look at me, building a 5 port sleeve valve Briggs, I dyno it, but don't use it for racing, as it took way too long to build to have it grenade. It will hold up to the occasional 6400rpm blast, right! :)) Luckily it has so far! Personally, I always wanted to build a HEMI Briggs, I have drawn a few up, but never built them, although I have the Race Hemi Orange paint ready :))

Hes using a vangaurd v twin lawn mower engine horzontal shaft..... its got more mods in it then half the cars you see at drag strips...

Yea, I have lots of vids on my channel.
6000, man, thats like 6 times what it costs me to get a car on the road! For real!
Of course my son spent almost that much to build a 440 for the Charger. So I know high perf. parts don't come cheap!
