These old style looks are awesome and at times seem easy but its so hard to do it when "we" have thick hair, I've tried it so many time but super hard and it doesnt come out right. My hair is medium length and wavy but I have a lot of hair. Most of the vids I see on here with this oldies look, I notice that the girls doing their hair have much thinner hair. Great look!!!! I'm going to keep practicing.

how do you get your hair so black? what dye do u use i tried a couple n they all fade :( or its just as deep black...

@pumpknface It's actually super dark brown. I use Wella Color Charm demi-perm in 3N or 4N or sometimes mix the two together. I buy it at Sally's (along with the developer), use sulfate-free shampoo, and wash my hair every other day to prevent fading. I also do touch-ups once a month! ;-)

@jackiee554 I don't remember exactly, as I filmed this 6 months ago. But I believe I layered a few different things and one of them was MAC Hang-Up. And I probably swiped a small amount of MAC Wicket Ways lipglass from the Disney Venomous Villains collection.
