  • @ExamSolutions you saved my life!!!!!

  • @nbhuiyan1230 Scary!

  • Thankyouuuu Thankyouuuu! :DD

  • I took "as" level maths and my teacher doesnt really explain properly, so i just watch your videos and they really help

  • I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR VIDEOS! THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THESE :)

  • #Jaluigi

  • #Completing the square

  • lol, is that jude law?!?

  • thanks so much, this has really helped me!

  • @MisheardLyricsVideos No problem. Good to hear that it helped.

  • could you also help me with a question

    : Solve the Quadratic equation

    x(squared) - 5x - 8 = 0

For this method would i use the quadratic method or the completing the square

    thanks

  • Both as the formula is really derived from completing the square.. Try both and compare the methods. Use the one that is quickest for you. I would always use the formula though if I had 2x squared or -3x squared etc rather than just x squared as I find it quicker.

  • cool, so how would i actually solve the square with the equation i just mentioned, as the question differs from the one included in this video

  • well explained ur a true pro

  • Thanks

  • But when I have to do it, the final answer is written as a(x+h)+k

is that somehow equivalent to (x+p)+q??

  • You would only need to do that if the x^2 term was 2x^2, 3x^2 etc

  • Thank yu...well explained

  • brilliant thanks a bunch. it has helped so much

  • Thank you for this explanation im going to watch view your vids in the future from now on.

  • Cool - glad I can offer some help.

  • Thank you!!! With this video I remembered how to solve in about 4 mins in. Its so easy. Thanx again!

  • thanks for clearing things up!!

  • Do you no if this is higher maths or foundation?

  • foundation

  • this guy makes it so easy

  • so right! this guys method is soo much faster!

  • that's easy too much

  • Quadratic formula is sooooo much easier.

  • wow, my teacher stinks compared to this guy. great video!!

  • that was great thank u so much.

  • thank you very much :) really helped me remember

  • Excellent! I Took 3 weeks to learn this in school, with this, it takes me 10 min and everything's done! Great Job!

  • great video thanks very much:)

  • Thx, excellent explanation!

  • This is good, but maybe an easier way to get rid of the positive 9 is to just think "what number do i need to add to positive 9 to make it minus 1?" Answer: minus 10.

    Easy!

  • thanks so much for this, really, really helpful, clear and concise. excellent work.

  • does anyone know the definition of it?

  • I think you could say "Expressing a quadratic expression in the form (x+p)2+q

  • This was very usefull. Thanks!

  • Where is the video with the other examples mentioned at the end? I'm looking for an example where the coefficient of x is more than 1!!!

    thanks (:

  • i love the British accent

  • We dont all sound like that u knw lol

  • Excellent. A very brief explaination but easily to be understood

  • Thanks.

  • brilliant!! what a grreat help. thanks a lot
